In the words of Tiffany Haddish, she ready…for a new car. And that’s exactly what she got in the form of a generous gift from Tyler Perry.

In the last year, the comedian and actress has become a household name thanks to her scene-stealing role in 2017’s Girls Trip, becoming Groupon’s spokesperson, that hilarious bit while presenting with Maya Rudolph at the Oscars, and her standout job as host of this year’s MTV Movie & TV Awards.

And now, “friend and big brother” Tyler Perry is rewarding the 38-year-old, who stars in his upcoming movie Nobody’s Fool, for all of her hard work. Haddish shared a video message and photos from Perry on Instagram Friday, where a week ago he revealed to her a very special gift: a blue Tesla Model X.

“When I tell you I cried so hard. I almost couldn’t believe it,” Haddish says in the caption, where she explains a man has never bought her a car and she’s always made payments. “This was just out the kindness of his heart and probably tired of me talking about it all the time and I didn’t have to do anything for it but a great job in our new movie Nobody’s Fool. Thank God for kind people that want to spread happiness.”

Perry tells Haddish in the video, above, that he understands her fears about whether she’s really made it and being hesitant to spend money on herself, but he assured her she’s not going anywhere and should enjoy what she’s worked tirelessly to achieve.

“I know it’s hard for you, it feels like you’re just coming into [money], but your career is taking off, you’re going to be around a really, really long time,” he assures her. “I know you’ve been talking about [getting a new car] for a long time, I was trying to talk you into going and get it, I tried talking you into calling the dealership, have them bring the car to you — you were like, ‘I don’t have time, I don’t have time’ — but I know what the real deal is: The real deal is, you gotta be okay with spending a little bit of money. So I wanted to gift this to you and say you deserve it and I’m excited for you.”

Prior to hosting the MTV Movie & TV Awards, Haddish got emotional telling EW about how she’s happy to be busy and tired from her nonstop work schedule — all because she’s able to provide care for her family.

“Seeing my grandmother — every time I come home she’s getting better and better, healing — and my mother is getting better,” she explained. “I got her out of the mental institution, got her the best doctors, the best nurses, food and everything, and watching this transformation it is…[pauses, gets choked up] it is just all worth it. I will be tired forever if I could see my family healed and better.”

Lady Gaga surprised her little monsters in the audience and around the world with a surprise appearance at the MTV Movie and TV Awards.

While clips played of her documentary Five Foot Two, which won the prize for Best Music Documentary at the award show, Tiffany Haddish handed the singer her golden popcorn statue.

“I love you little monsters so much! And, Happy Pride Month!” she said. “I just have one problem, I recently found out that I am actually five-foot-three and three quarters … I am so, so sorry, but thank you so much.”

Directed by Chris Moukarbel, the Netflix documentary follows the Grammy winner in the year leading up to the release of her 2016 album, Joanne.

The A Star Is Born actress, 32, went on to present the award for Best Movie.

“The real reason that I am here tonight is to present the award for Best Movie. The five films nominated this year filled our spirits, broke our hearts, broke the box office and led us on shiny-starred adventures that we are still coming down from,” she said.

She then announced the award would go to “Black mother f—– Panther’.

The film, starring Chadwick Boseman as the superhero and Michael B. Jordan as the villain, grossed over a billion dollars worldwide.

Boseman and Jordan accepted the award along with costar Winston Duke, who said, “Thank you all for investing in not just a beautiful story, but investing in a continued conversation in what this industry and what this culture could achieve — and what we all can aspire to be.”

You can always count on Tiffany Haddish to be outspoken about her celebrity encounters.

The 38-year-old actress-comedian covers The Hollywood Reporter's latest issue, and in the accompanying interview, shares her run-in with Leonardo DiCaprio. Haddish hasn't been shy about her crush on the Oscar-winning actor.

"Yeah, I met him at a party two, three months ago, and I asked him if he'd let me hit that," she says. "He's like, 'Tiffany, you're so funny.' I'm like, 'I'm serious.' And then he goes, 'I mean, I'd do it, but …' I was like, 'Come on, wasn't you in a squad? The coochie squad or something?'"

Haddish is of course referring to DiCaprio and his famous pals' group -- including Tobey Maguire and Kevin Connolly -- being dubbed the "pu**y posse" in the '90s. Haddish also said she made the actor laugh with a joke referencing his character in the 1993 film, What's Eating Gilbert Grape.

"I told him, 'My only stipulation: I wanna do it with you as your character in What's Eating Gilbert Grape,'" she continues. "He starts bustin' up laughin'. 'Why?' he asks, and I say, 'Cause I feel like that performance deserves a real reward and that reward is this (gestures at her own body).' He starts goin' into how he got into the role, how he worked with these kids and all this stuff, and I'm just listenin' and listenin', like, 'Mmm-hmm, mmm-hmm.' I finally go, 'All that's good, I just need to know, When's this gonna happen?'"

Aside from dishing on DiCaprio, Haddish later finally reveals the identity of the actress who she claims bit Beyonce. In March, Haddish told GQ that an actress bit Beyonce in the face at a party, and that the "Formation" singer stopped her from getting into a fight with the woman, whom she didn't name.

Two sources previously told ET that it was actress Sanaa Lathan who "playfully" bit Beyonce in the face at an after-party last December following JAY-Z's concert. During Haddish's THR interview, she is asked if it indeed is Lathan whom she was speaking about, and Haddish smiles.

"I'm super good friends with her stepmom and her dad [Stan, a producer-director], and they were mad at me," she says. "They were like, 'Why would you do this to the family? You know, black actresses, you guys have to stick together, it's so hard for you guys to get work as it is, why would you try to ruin her career?' But I didn't try to ruin her career. I never said her name! I was just trying to say how Beyonce kept me from goin' to jail that night. I coulda just shut my whole career down."

However, Haddish says she didn't get any backlash after airing out the incident -- in fact, she's received even more invitations to celebrity bashes.

"The other day, someone was saying, like, 'Oh my God, you should keep your mouth shut 'cause now you're never gonna be invited to parties,' but I got invited to way more parties after that," she notes. "It's ridiculous how many parties. 'Can you come to my party?' 'Can you come to my thing?' They want me to talk about something at their thing 'cause they think, like, 'This is gonna put me back on if Tiffany says something.'"

ET last spoke to Haddish at the Met Gala in New York City last month, when she hilariously joked that she was ready to party with "rich men."
