Something pretty fantastic happened at the Academy Of Country Music Awards last night: Dolly Parton and Katy Perry performed together for the first time ever… And it was brilliant.


Country legend Dolly teamed up with Katy to sing a whole medley of her biggest hits, including ‘Jolene’ and of course '9 To 5’, and the 'California Girls’ hitmaker could not have been more chuffed by the honour.

Dolly was at the star-studded Country Music Awards to pick up the Tex Ritter Award for her biographical film 'Dolly Parton’s Coat Of Many Colours’, aptly donning a multi-coloured coat to the ceremony, quipping that she had to compensate for the “leggy” women who she’d worked with whilst making the film.

Katy doesn't elaborate any further on the situation but the lyrics of the song are written from the point of view of a person who is disillusioned with events in life that are supposedly unique experiences. And Peggy suggests we just "break out the booze and have a ball - if that's all there is", instead of worrying about life.


Katy, 31, has been enjoying a very public romance with Orlando, with the couple enjoying several holidays together. After the 2016 Met Gala, where they both accessorised their outfits with retro Tamagotchi toys, she tweeted: "What's the cut off age of being able to say 'I want to grow old with you' like 50? 65? 31?"

While neither Orlando nor Selena have commented, an insider told People that the pair are "absolutely just friends".

Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry arrived at Los Angeles International Airport Saturday night after jet setting around the globe together, and it's not hard to tell that the Pirates of the Caribbean star had a pretty great vacation.

Bloom sported a giant smile as he held his head high for photographers at LAX. The 39-year-old actor even stopped to sign autographs and shake hands with fans in the airport.


Perry, on the other hand, opted for a little privacy. The 31-year-old "Roar" singer wore all-black, including a long, puffer jacket and Adidas track pants, which went well with her Adidas sneakers.

She covered her face with a black ball cap, dark glasses and her hand, blocking photographers from getting a good shot.

While they arrived together on the same flight, it appears both stars left the airport separately.

Rumors linking Bloom and Perry romantically began in January, when the two looked pretty cozy together at The Weinstein Company and Netflix Golden Globes after party.

When Katy Perry plans an outfit, you know it’s going to be over the top and delightfully campy. Since coming out to formally endorse Hillary Clinton, Perry has naturally sported her share of ostentatious fare in support of the candidate. Last night, she offered her musical talents to a rally for Clinton, performing onstage in a glittering ensemble consisting of striped high-waisted blue-and-white pants with a sparkly tuxedo stripe, an equally blingy red bustier underneath a vest that was red on one side and blue-and-white-striped on the other. She accessorized with a skinny blue belt and blue-and-white sparkly cuffs on each wrist.

Ahead of Brie Larson’s big Best Actress win at the 2016 Oscars on Sunday night, the star had one focus: getting some grub. And, per Instagram, Larson’s goal was achieved. 

The Room star shared a photo of herself chowing down on a burger from inside the Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty. With her Converse-clad foot perched on a table, and new statuette in one hand, Larson bit into her highly-anticipated snack. 

Larson, who beat out previous recipients Cate Blanchett and Jennifer Lawrence for the Best Actress award, told Ryan Seacrest earlier in the night that she could go for “a double-double” from In-N-Out.

Sharing a story from January’s Golden Globes, Larson said that Katy Perry had gotten several attendees some food from the popular fast food restaurant during the lengthy ceremony. 

“None of us realized that if you walk the carpet you miss the dinner,” Larson said. “We were all expecting a dinner when we arrived and there wasn’t food and so everyone was starving” 

Looks like Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are indeed more than friends.

The 31-year-old “Teenage Dream” singer and the handsome 39-year-old British actor were snapped holding hands and hiking in Hawaii on the north shore of Kauai on Saturday, with Bloom showing off his super toned physique by going shirtless. The Lord of the Rings actor presumably joined Perry in Hawaii, where she was in town to play a private show at the Grand Wailea Resort in Maui on Feb. 24.

“They looked very loved up and really into each other,” a source tells ET about Bloom and Perry. “They were comfortable letting everyone see them as a couple – lots of PDA and hand-holding.”

There is a relatively small but incredibly dedicated community on YouTube devoted to proving conspiracies of various and increasingly obvious fictionality. One of those is that rather than die at age 6, JonBenét became Katy Perry. The why of the matter isn’t really so important but it has something to do with either a Jewish or Illuminati conspiracy. It’s the how these theorists care about.

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have left the status of their relationship very up in the air, but pal Jason Bateman did give ET a little insight into the rumored couple's dynamic.

Earlier this month, the Golden Globe winner was pictured out at Sunset Tower in Hollywood with the pair and costar friend Jennifer Aniston at a birthday dinner for Bloom's manager, Aleen Keshishian.

"They are fun," Bateman told ET at the Hollywood premiere of his new animated film, Zootopia, on Wednesday.
