When you look at Lindsey Pelas, there’s one thing that’s pretty hard to miss. Past the pretty face and well manicured hair and makeup, the 24-year-old model also happens to have size 32DDD (or 30H) breasts, which she proudly flaunts on her Instagram account.
“I first realized that I was sexy when I was around 14. My boobs were big, but I didn’t know they were big until I got a reaction from the boys,” Pelas says in a letter to Cosmopolitan.
Pelas has 3.4 million followers on Instagram and they often can be quite cruel when commenting on the photos she posts.
“I’ve been called a ho, whore, slut, and bitch. I used to feel really upset when I read nasty comments. But now I feel it’s just a display of ignorance. I’m not mad at you if you want to call me a ho — I’m mad at your mom and dad, I’m mad at your educators, I’m mad at your society that you think that that’s OK.”
Pelas claims that this is yet another way that women are made to feel ashamed of their bodies.
“If I were 5-foot-10, flat-chested, and not as curvy, my photos would be artistic, but when I’m in them, they become vulgar and pornographic and overly sexual.”
Last month, actress Emily Ratajkowski penned a similar letter to Lenny describing how she was shamed, even as a child, for being well-endowed.
