Nicole Trunfio

Australian supermodel Nicole Trunfio has appeared on the June 2015 cover of Elle Australia, breastfeeding her four-month-old son Zion. The photo marks the first time the magazine has realised a breastfeeding front cover. But TV presenter Sonia Kruger has hit out at the mag’s editor, Justine Cullen, saying she 'wussed out’ for only using this photo on the glossy’s subscription issue. Nicole shared the cover on her Instagram page, writing, 'There is nothing more powerful and beautiful than motherhood. The last thing I want to do is be controversial, so please take this for what it is, let us #normalizebreastfeeding. There is nothing worse than a mother that is judged for feeding her hungry child in public #weareonlyhuman. I’m so proud of this cover and for what it stands for. While many of her supermodel peers were attending fashion's biggest night at the Met Gala in NYC on Monday, Gisele Bundchen traveled to Cuba to take in some sites. The 35-year-old Brazilian bombshell posted several vacation photos from the recently reopened country.

"Anyone needs a ride?" Bundchen captioned one photo of herself in a comically tiny, circular pedicab.

The mother of two also shared a photo of herself climbing in a giant, branch-lined tree, writing, "I love it!! #amazingnature #Cuba #Havana."

But it wasn't all fun and games. Bundchen also attended Karl Lagerfeld's Chanel show at the Paseo del Prado street in Havana on Tuesday.

The former runway model wore a cherry red dress with a navy beret and carried a yellow fan to see the "Cruise" collection.

Gisele Bundchen, Jaime King, Gwen Stefani, and Miranda Kerr are among the celebrity moms who have helped glamorize breastfeeding recently — and now, with her buzz-inducing mom-and-baby photo image included in a spread for Glamour, cover girl Olivia Wilde has joined their proudly lactating ranks. “Breastfeeding is the most natural thing,” she told the magazine, regarding the pose in which she’s wearing a Roberto Cavalli dress and Prada shoes while nursing her naked infant son. “I don’t know, now it feels like Otis should always be on my breast.” Wilde added, ”Being shot with Otis is so perfect because any portrait of me right now isn’t complete without my identity as a mother being a part of that.”


It was a fitting message coming from Wilde, film star and former cast member of “The O.C.,” who seems to be a champion of maternal health around the world, judging by her appearance at UN Global Moms + Social Good Conference this past spring. The UN World Health Organization (WHO) encourages breastfeeding for at least six months, and Wilde’s son is already 5 months old. The timing of the image couldn’t have been better: We’re in the midst of World Breastfeeding Week, during which the World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action, with the support of WHO and UNICEF, is busy promoting the health benefits of nursing in 175 countries around the world.

Plus, just last week, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention released its annual Breastfeeding Report Card (with stats from 2011, the most recent available). It found that the percentage of babies who start out breastfeeding is continuing to rise — just over 79 percent in 2011 — but that it quickly declines, with 49 percent still nursing at 6 months and just 27 percent by the end of their first year (so kudos, Ms. Wilde). And Wilde’s state of residence, California, ranks at the top when it comes to the percentage of infants that start out nursing — 92.8 percent — as well as those who are still being exclusively breastfed at 3 months, with 56.1 percent in that category.


Wilde’s Glamour photo has been enthusiastically received on Twitter, where she’s been called “stunning,” “glamorous,” and “my hero.” It’s also where Wilde herself thanked the magazine for “knowing there’s nothing indecent about feeding a hungry baby.”

You don't get to look like Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady without a whole lot of discipline.

We already know about the stunning couple's strict dietary demands -- no white sugar, white flour, gluten or MSG -- but it turns out their healthy eating habits extend even while they're on vacation. According to raw food chef Joanne Gerrard Young, who's cooked for the two at their home in Costa Rica for the last five years, Gisele and Tom do a 80/20 raw diet during their getaways.


"They don't always do raw, but since it's so easy to do in Costa Rica, we do a 80/20 raw diet, with big colorful salads and lots of fresh veggies," Young tells Well + Good. "'G' likes to eat vegetarian sometimes, so we'll do a grain separate from the protein, and she's totally into juice cleanses, so she'll do about one per year."

Young says the pretty pair eat their biggest meal at lunch and then a smaller dinner, and actually want to abstain from dessert.


"They didn't want to do desserts anymore, for healthy eating purposes, but I shared all of my raw vegan desserts with them and they love them and have them all the time," Young says.

Britney Spears has graced celebrity photographer Mario Testino photo series wrapped in nothing but a towel. Spears's revealing photo was shared on Instagram just days after V Magazine released its cover of the singer.

The photograph captioned Towel Series 104, Britney Spears, shows the singer looking over one shoulder with a towel wrapped around her body, while another covers her hair. The photograph is part of Testino's Towel Series, which is exclusive to V Magazine. Other celebrities like Gisele Bundchen, Kristen Stewart, Cara Delevingne, Justin Bieber, Kendall Jenner and Ben Stiller have all been part of Testino's photo series, according to JustJared.

Testino told V Magazine that he came up with the idea for his Towel Series when he once saw Kate Moss in a bathing robe and a towel wrapped around her head. "The interesting thing about the towel is that, even though in it you are not completely covered, it serves as both a tool for drying and as a protective barrier. In a towel, you are clothed, but naked," he said.

"You know, Justin Bieber, he's huge, and he experiences that. It's just the way the world works, unfortunately."


"I've been doing this for 20 years. I kind of don't pay attention to it," she said. "I have my relationship with God and myself and that's what matters to me. I really don't care what most people think," the 34-year-old mother-of-two added.

Talking about her long-awaited ninth studio album, Britney said: "Honestly, I'm just particular with this record. It's my baby, and so I really want it done right."

Tom Brady is already spending some quality time with his and Gisele Bundchen's new puppy, Fluffy, and in a new video posted to the NFL player's Facebook, he's treating the little canine just like Simba from The Lion King!

Gisele Bündchen is enjoying the cooler temperatures!

The 35-year-old supermodel took to Instagram on Tuesday, sharing a sweet snap of her and husband Tom Brady's two children, Benjamin, 6, and Vivian, 3, wearing matching hats while building a snowman.

"Merry Christmas! May your day be filled with love," she captioned another photo posted Dec. 25 of her parents embracing in a sweet hug.

Last week, the Brazilian beauty shared snaps of her family getting into the holiday spirit.

She first posted a photo of a homemade gingerbread man hot out of the oven.

Gisele Bündchen just touched down in her native Brazil—and it’s not to visit family and friends. The 34-year-old Brazilian bombshell is in town for São Paulo Fashion Week, and she swears it’ll be her last. Last week, the supermodel announced that her body’s "asked to stop" and she’s listened; Bundchen will retire from the runway.
