In which one of Alex’s biggest enemies may become her most important ally, and Shelby learns her fake sister has nothing on the scam being pulled by some other family members.

Here, 7 things we learned in the “Turn” episode of Quantico:


1. Simon and Alex are tag-teaming The Voice: He’s using software to try to decode The Voice’s, um, voice, and Alex plans to get to the office and try to change the presidential candidates’ security details. They know that won’t shut down this blackmailing terrorist, but it may delay him/her and give them some leverage to thwart The Voice eventually. “First one of us who doesn’t end up in jail or dead, wins,” Simon says.

2. Despite Miranda demanding his immediate resignation after finding out he slept with Alex, Liam shows up for training the next AM, and tells Miranda if she wants him to kick rocks, she’ll have to fire him. 

3. Raina calls Miranda in a panic: She’s at the terrorist cell house, and everyone is gone. And they took all the guns with them. Miranda tells her to get out ASAP so she can call it in. She also asks her to go to Miranda’s home, pick up Charlie, and bring him to the campus, so Miranda can keep him safe.

4. Claire Haas, Caleb’s mama, the senator and a vice-presidential candidate, is everywhere this week. In the Quantico training timeline, she’s the week’s enrichment speaker, at the Academy to talk to the trainees about hate crimes. Unfortunately for her, that puts her on campus at a very dangerous time… 

5. The cell attack. More than a dozen men and women from the terrorist cell Raina was infiltrating pull up to the Quantico security entrance booth in a van. The back is filled with cell members holding guns, and when the guards demand the driver show them what’s in the back, the driver opens fire, and a full-on attack is underway. The campus goes on lockdown, and Shelby, upset about something she just learned, runs outside just as gunshots can be heard everywhere.

6. Despite the fact that their relationship is quite rocky as of late, Caleb sneaks out of the lockdown to go make sure Shelby is OK. Will insists on going with him, and they find Shelby in the woods around campus. They also see Liam, with gun drawn, but unaware that one of the terrorists is sneaking up behind him with his own gun drawn. Just as Caleb shouts to Liam to warn him, a shot is fired… it’s the terrorist, shot dead, by… Drew! Liam’s enemy/student followed him to make sure he wasn’t dealing with the terrorist crisis solo. Later, Liam — who had kicked Drew out last week — gives him the old, we-don’t-have-to-like-each-other-to-work-together speech, and they do seem to have sorta, kinda made up. For now. 

7 Claire tells Alex she knows where Caleb is. No, she doesn’t offer a single additional detail. 

B-Town hottie Priyanka Chopra has been busy shooting for ABC’s popular show Quantico and her Hollywood film,Baywatch.  And so, the actress has been globe-trotting with her stops varying from Mumbai, Montreal and Miami in these past few months. PeeCee, who has been busy shooting for Quantico’s second season past month, took some time off this Friday night. Ms Chopra, along with herQuantico co-stars went out for a Karaoke night. And bwoy, the girls totally rocked it!


Accompanied by actresses Li Jun Li and Johanna Braddy, Priyanka, who is also a singer, was seen singing throughout the night. The girls even clicked selfies which Priyanka shared on Twitter. She captioned it, “Lovely night! @johannaebraddy @lijunli. Karaokeing with my hotties…” In another video, Priyanka and her Quantico co-stars can be seen blowing kisses at their Karaoke night outing.

And we are completely loving it….

If that photo of Shelby’s parents in Sunday’s Quantico brought to mind headbands, the Upper East Side and precocious, privileged teenagers, here’s why: The picture featured Gossip Girl‘s Kelly Rutherford, who has been cast as Agent Wyatt’s presumed-dead (until recently) mother, TVLine has learned.


Rutherford will kick off her multiple-episode arc as Laura in next week’s Quantico; Laura’s husband Glenn, played by Almost Perfect‘s Kevin Kilner, will make his debut then, too. As those who watched this week’s installment are aware, Shelby learned that her parents — whom she’d believed to have died in the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks — actually are alive and have been hiding from her for 15 years.

According to the official character description, Laura and Glenn’s arrival “complicates Caleb’s relationship with both Shelby and his own mother.” We’re going to use one of Iris’ favorite words here: Intriguing, no?


Rutherford, of course, played Lily van der Woodsen on Gossip Girl, on which Quantico boss Joshua Safran was showrunner. Her recent TV credits include Bones, Reckless, The Mysteries of Laura and Being Mary Jane.

Priyanka Chopra has smoothly segued from good girl to bad girl, and the dusky beauty seems to be in love with her latter self. After playing the savvy FBI agent Alex Parrish in Quantico, the 33-year-old is preparing to make her Hollywood debut with the big screen adaptation of the popular TV series Baywatch, directed by Seth Gordon.

The actress has offered a sneak preview of her look on Instagram, with a caption that reads: “Haha love creating Victoria with u @sethnodrog I seem to be liking being bad too much.” (sic)

Actress Priyanka Chopra is literally going places. PeeCee, who was initially in Montreal for the shoot of her American television show Quantico, is currently stationed in Miami for her Hollywood debut film Baywatch’s shoot.

After wrapping up that, Chopra is all set to begin shooting the next season of Quantico in New York and hence, now a popular tabloid has reported, that the lady is house-hunting in NY. When she was in Montreal, Canada, Priyanka had rented out a huge mansion which she shared with her co-actors Jaz Masri and Johanna Braddy. 


However, in New York, she plan to go solo and is looking to invest in Manhattan.  Interestingly, she also took her Mom to New York two weeks back to check some places out. Clearly, the actress is keen to move in soon!

Boy, those Quantico writers love bombs, don’t they? Huge bombs, smaller but still massively destructive bombs, belt bombs, laptop bombs, plot bombs dropped liberally throughout the storyline… bombs, bombs, bombs!

1. The Voice, who called Alex in last week’s episode and led her to a meeting with  bomb-strapped Natalie, now wants Alex to leave Natalie and await another call with further instructions. Who is this person who drugged Natalie? She doesn’t know… She thinks she was drugged, during which time The Voice or his or her minions gave Natalie her very un-chic bomb belt. 


2. On the plus side, Natalie now believes Alex was right, that Elias Harper was just a puppet of the terrorist responsible for both the bombings, and “now we are, too.”

Ever since the first trailer of Priyanka Chopra’s Jai Gangaajal released, people have been excited and curious to watch the actress in the cop avatar performing some dhamakedar action and churning some whistle-worthy dialogues. With the movie all set to release this week, we caught up with PeeCee, who is in Miami shooting for her Hollywood debut Baywatch. 

Ask Priyanka, if she is also excited just like us to see her dabangg cop avatar on the big screen and she admits, “I am very excited for the movie to release. It is an exciting and a relevant film and I am happy I got to be a part of the movie. The USP of Jai Gangaajal is that it has a dhamakedar story with relevant debates, which are happening in the country. It talks about feminism, farmer suicides, corruption told by a bold filmmaker like Prakash Jha who is always known for his point of views." 

With Piggy Chops doing some real action in the movie, we can’t resist but ask her how did she prepare herself for the role? "I think my characters from Don, Drona, Mary Kom prepared me for any kind of action, whether it was Quantico or Jai Gangaajal. I am quite well-versed with action because I have done so much of it in the past. Shyam Kaushal and I have worked together before but still we used to do some rehearsals for this one. The action in the movie is very raw and real and not fashionable,” she quips. 

Given that Jai Gangaajal is a sequel to Ajay Devgn starrer Gangaajal that released back in 2003, there are bound to be comparisons. Probe Priyanka what is her opinion about this and she clarifies, “Not at all yeah! Nobody can be Ajay Devgn and it is unfair to make comparisons. They are totally different characters. I am happy that Prakash Jha thought that I was bold enough to take ahead the legacy. I hope I have live up to it.” Directed by Prakash Jha, Jai Gangaajal releases on March 4, 2016.

There’s loads of secrets and betrayal - Everyone comes into the show with their own secrets and these are eventually fleshed out through both timelines. The character with the most to hide is Liam O’Conner (Josh Hopkins) a seasoned FBI agent who’s been demoted to teaching at Quantico, but is the lead agent in hunting down Alex in the present storyline. There’s also Ryan Booth (Jake McLaughlin), a handsome stranger who has a fling with Alex at the beginning of the show but there’s something more to him. Even Alex has her fair share of secrets that she’s hiding. 

And everyone is a suspect - We quickly find out that the mastermind behind the Grand Central Station bombing is one of Alex’s former classmates. Everyone is a suspect on this show. Everyone is shady and everyone acts shady. It’s up to Alex to figure out who’s setting her up, but this is proved to be difficult when she has to do things in secret on the run with the help of trusted friends.

He’s killed, and will most likely kill again to help exonerate Alex.

Josh Hopkins plays Liam O'Connor, a seasoned FBI agent who’s demeaned to teaching the new class at Quantico after a scandal affected his career and image. But he owes his thanks to the deputy director and his former flame Miranda Shaw who pulled strings to keep his job at the FBI - and his dignity. But what Miranda doesn’t know is that Liam is running a secret side operation using an undercover agent right under her nose. In the present, Liam is in charge of hunting down the terrorists responsible for the Grand Central bombing and has convinced himself that Alex is the conspirator behind it all. But he knows something more about her than he’s leading on…

Aunjanue Ellis plays Miranda Shaw, the deputy director at Quantico. Despite being the’s the highest ranking female at the FBI, she wants more. It’s her aim to see the newest recruits graduate as the best FBI agents that Quantico has ever seen, though her methods are a bit unconventional. Having bonded with her star pupil Alex at Quantico, Miranda is the first to believe that she’s innocent and helps her go on the run. 

Johanna Braddy plays Shelby Wyatt, a former Southern Belle turned firearms specialist after joining Quantico. While she may look like a sweet débutante, she was hardened by tragedy after being orphaned at 16. Shelby finds a true friend in Alex while at Quantico but their friendship turns sour somewhere along the way before the Grand Central bombing. Something big clearly must have happened… 

Yasmine Al Massri plays Nimah Amin, a conservative Muslim who prefers to keep her private life behind closed doors. Despite having a deep love for America, she’s constantly being profiled because of her religion. So she makes it her mission to change that by joining Quantico because of her burning passion to become an FBI agent. She’s observant, analytical and a personal selection by deputy director Miranda. But is she hiding something from her Quantico classmates? 

Tate Ellington plays Simon Asher, a former accountant and Quantico’s first gay recruit. He’s a mystery right from the start. How does a man who spent his career creating spreadsheets manage to become so skilful in firing a gun? His past in the Middle East might be a clue and Nimah takes it upon herself to dig up the ghosts of his past. Simon proves that he’s unpredictable but his expertise may be crucial to help Alex figure out who really bombed Grand Central.
   

Graham Rogers plays Caleb Haas, a budding young recruit who comes from a family with an unmatched FBI legacy. Caleb comes to Quantico with a chip on his shoulder and the pressures of his family legacy. Nevertheless he’s funny wise-ass, but frustrating at the same time. No one knows that better than Shelby, who he forms a relationship with. In the present, Caleb is at the top of his FBI game, something that proves an obstacle between Alex and her freedom. 

Anabelle Acosta plays Natalie Vasquez, a recruit who joined the FBI after she became frustrated with her career as a Texas border cop. She’s a bad-ass, a tough fighter and great shot and has the scars to prove it. She’s fiercely competitive - coming second isn’t in her nature. Natalie makes no attempt to mask her hatred and competitiveness with Alex, making her the perfect agent to hunt her down. But she isn’t all tough-as-nails. Her family situation is what’s making her get through this but could she be hiding something behind her bad-ass exterior?

Though her latest Bollywood release Jai Gangaajal has failed to impress the audiences, Priyanka Chopra is making all the right noises in Hollywood.

She recently presented at the Oscars and now, she has become the first Indian to appear onThe Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. PeeCee went on the show to promote the second season of her upcoming show Quantico and she had a blast on the sets.


However, the highlight of the show was PeeCee challenging Fallon to a hot-wings eating contest. Before the challenge kick-started, Chopra announced that since she is an Indian, she won’t have any problem devouring the spicy wings. The challenge was to see who can eat the most nuclear sauce-covered Atomic Wings in 20 seconds and our Desi Girl won the challenge.

Bollywood superstar Priyanka Chopra has revealed her “wild child” tendencies that attracted her to her new TV show.

The actress and former Miss World takes on the role of FBI recruit Alex Parrish in drama Quantico, her first big role outside of her native India, where she is a household name for her starring turns on the big screen.

Speaking on the set of the show in Montreal, Canada, she said: “The best roles for women are on TV. Coming from a feature background in India, I think this is the best time to be an actress right now, in Indian films at least. I’ve been very sure about the fact I like picking empowered roles that are not replaceable, even if they are small.”

Priyanka has become the first south Asian actress to win a People’s Choice Award in America for her role on the show but she said she didn’t want her ethnicity to be a factor in her casting.

Priyanka Chopra has grabbed all the eye balls for her stunning appearance at the Oscars 2016 today. She has also been the talk of the town lately for bagging her first Hollywood film Baywatch just few months after debuting in American TV show Quantico.

Ask her if she got an opportunity to speak to Priyanka, before the Jai Gangaajal actress made the heads turn today, Parineeti reveals, “No actually, I called her up but she was reaching the venue and hence she couldn’t answer. But I will speak to her now. I guess she is about to leave now and she has a flight today. So I might speak to her tomorrow.” She adds, “I am more than thrilled, it is not even thrilled or excited. I get goosebumps when I think about how much she is achieving and how well she is doing. It is not an ordinary thing to go to Hollywood like this and do the different kind of work and films that she is doing. Not just being a presenter at Oscars but being part of that group and doing a show, a film, it is a great thing. I feel very proud of her." 

Probe Pari, if she is open to doing Hollywood projects and pat comes the reply, "I mean yes, of course. If I have a good offer from there why would I say no? But I think I am new and I have a long way to go in Hollywood. So that will happen later.” Point noted Parineeti! 

That was certainly a long wait. The midseason finale of ABC’s freshman FBI drama aired nearly three full months ago, and left a lot of mysteries up in the air. But viewers were rewarded with a slew of answers to kick off the second half of the season, as well as a major, episode-ending cliffhanger that suggests a whole new level of angst and danger for agent Alex Parrish (Priyanka Chopra).


1. The action has jumped three months forward in the timeline of “future”/New York City events, and we learn the most familiar casualty of the 32 people who died in the second bomb attack, the one that blew up the FBI command center: Clayton Haas, a.k.a. Caleb’s dad, Shelby’s ex-lover, and the husband of Senator (and aspiring Veep) Claire Haas.


2. Alex reveals at a Senate hearing that she doesn’t believe Elias Harper acted alone in the bombings at Grand Central Station and the FBI command center. Some of her colleagues strongly disagree with her, including Liam, Miranda, Ryan, Simon, and Shelby, who doesn’t even want to talk to Alex, given that Ms. Parrish blew up her life, humiliated her with the revelation of her affair with the late Clayton, and left her such a target of the paparazzi that she has to move back to Georgia to find a little bit of peace.

3. Duncan Howell, the hacker who helped Alex figure out there was going to be a second bomb after the Grand Central attack, jumps off the Brooklyn Bridge, telling the cop who tried to talk him down to make sure Alex knows “I thought I didn’t have a choice.” 

Deepika Padukone is all set to mark her Hollywood debut with XXX-The Return of Xander Cage, but it seems like Ruby Rose, her co-star in the film, is all praises for Priyanka Chopra, who will make her Hollywood debut with Baywatch.


After watching the new trailer of Priyanka's ABC show Quantico, Ruby wrote to Priyanka on Twitter saying, ''I thought the QUANTICO ad was a Pantene ad, but then I thought it was weird with the guns and all.'' Replying to this, Priyanka wrote, ''Awww thank u @RubyRose Great hair comes naturally to Indian girls. sure Deepika will concur. Good luck with Xxx.''

Incidentally, Deepika and Priyanka had shared screen space in their last movie Bajirao Mastani, which had also starred Ranveer Singh.

Priyanka Chopra is one actress who enjoys juggling between her work commitments. Rather than focusing one project, she comfortably shuffles between two without any qualms. While she was shooting for Bajirao Mastani, she flew in and out of US as she was also working on the first season of her American TV show Quantico. 

It has been 5 months of the hectic schedule that she is following and one would expect her to take a break and concentrate on one project. But Priyanka begs to differ. She plans to simultaneous shoot for her Hollywood debut Baywatch in Miami and Quantico in Montreal. Phew! 

“You know me, don’t you know me?! I always do two things together. I am still shooting for Quantico. I shoot three days of Baywatch, then I go to shoot Quantico and then I again come back to Baywatch. It is pretty mad. Just like I did for Bajirao Mastani. I shot that with Quantico. Same is the case with Quantico and Baywatch,” confirms Priyanka Chopra. 

Ask her how was her first day of shoot on the sets of Baywatch and she beams with joy and adds, “Oh it was great. We didn’t do much because it was a night shoot. It is amazing. We have a tremendous cast, an amazing director and a peaceful yacht. The technical team is phenomenal and I am looking forward to be in amazing hands." 

Well, now isn’t she simply amazing?
