When Hollywood flick Batman Versus Superman: Dawn Of Justice released, many felt that Jesse Eisenberg's portrayal of Superman's arch nemesis Lex Luthor reminded them of Shah Rukh Khan (we had said the same in our review) and on getting to know this, the King Khan is now rather keen to watch the superhero flick.
When director Bejoy Nambiar took to Twitter to remark on the similarities between Khan's negative roles and Eisenberg's Luthor, SRK tweeted, “Now toh I will have to watch it for Lex also. Hmmm??will ask my kids they r watching it tonight.”Khan had played negative characters in films like Baazigar, Darr and Anjaam.
Khan will be seen playing a grey role once again in YRF flick Fan.

Amber Heard is ready to go under the sea and join the DC cinematic universe!
ET confirmed on Thursday that the 29-year-old actress has been cast as Mera, the undersea queen and wife of Aquaman in the DC Comics canon. Heard will make her first appearance as Mera in 2017's The Justice League Part One before appearing in the 2018 standalone Aquaman film opposite Game of Thrones star Jason Momoa.

The actress exclusively dished to ET's Katie Krause about her sea queen costume.
"It's interesting. It's like, half suit of armor, half scales," Heard revealed. "It's strange... We're in the process of building it now, so it's coming along."
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice director Zack Snyder is set to helm the two-part Justice League films, while Furious 7's James Wan will be directing the Aquaman standalone feature.

Everyone knows the story of the Man of Steel, but on CBS' Supergirl, Melissa Benoist stars as Superman's cousin, Kara Zor-El, who works as an executive assistant by day and dons the iconic red cape and House of El glyph by night to keep National City safe.
The show of course resonates with young female fans, who have followed the first season of Supergirl's story with rapt attention and embraced Benoist as their Kryptonian criterion. For the former Glee star, the enthusiasm is a two-way street.
"I have had the privilege of meeting so many young girls that have visited set this season and I'm always blown away by their faces when they see the cape and the 'S' and the whole costume and just how excited they are to be there," Benoist, 27, gushed to ET at Saturday's Supergirl PaleyFest panel. "That is really moving and I always kind of... have to go to my trailer and cry a little bit!"
"It's amazing. Babies, toddlers, young women and guys too [are] just wearing the glyph," she said. "I think that she is just the symbol of power and, incidentally, female."

It's certainly nice to see the Batman v Superman actor with a smile on his face, a rare sight in public since his split with his wife, Jennifer Garner, was announced last year.
The former couple have been focusing on keeping things friendly for their three children, and Affleck talked recently with Jimmy Kimmel about his "mortifying" appearance as Batman at his son Samuel's birthday party.
Garner recently went public about the end of the couple's relationship in an interview this month with Vanity Fair, where she said of her ex: "When his sun shines on you, you feel it. But when the sun is shining elsewhere, it's cold." Affleck has yet to comment on the interview.

It all comes down to this.
Warner Bros. has been on the ropes for over a year, taking punches as flops like Pan and Jupiter Ascending piled up around the studio. Throughout the body blows, the company has held up DC Comics as its salvation. On Thursday, the studio unveils Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, a superhero matchup that is intended to kick off an ambitious series of interconnected comic book movies and serve as Warner Bros.’ answer to Disney’s Marvel universe. If it works, the trips to Neverland and Wachowski world will be forgiven. If it doesn’t, Warner Bros. chief Kevin Tsujihara will be feeling the heat.
“They need this one to be good,” said Eric Handler, an analyst at MKM Partners. “This is the birthing of a new DC universe. It leads to Wonder Woman and Justice League movies. It’s a very important film.”
Directed by Zack Snyder, the slo-mo aficionado behind Man of Steel, and starring Henry Cavill as Superman and Ben Affleck as Batman, the film carries a whopping $250 million price tag. The gamble appears to have paid off. Batman v Superman is expected to generate as much as $150 million when it hits 4,200 screens domestically, and more than $300 million globally when it rolls out across more than 60 major territories, including China, the world’s second biggest market for film.
“This is basically their Avengers,” said Jeff Bock, a box office analyst with Exhibitor Relations. “There’s a ton of buzz about it. They need to open bigger than any DC Comics film ever has.”

Warner Bros. isn’t leaving much to chance. The studio is making the film available in all the myriad premium forms. The superhero rumble will unspool across 390 Imax screens, 3,600 3D venues, 470 premium large format locations, and 150 motion seats. Pre-sales have been robust, with Fandango reporting that “Batman v Superman” is the fastest-selling superhero film in the ticketer’s history, beating previous record-holders, The Dark Knight Rises and Avengers: Age of Ultron, at the same point in its sales cycle.

It may be one of the most anticipated blockbusters of the year but critics have given a lukewarm response to Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice after its European premiere.
Ben Affleck and Britain’s Henry Cavill walked the red carpet in London on Tuesday, where press interviews were cancelled in the wake of the terrorist attacks in Brussels.
The new film is Ben’s first outing as Gotham’s masked vigilante, whose vendetta against Henry’s Man of Steel leads to the ultimate superhero showdown.
Geoffrey Macnab, in the Independent, praised the “full-blooded performances” of the two leading men but described the film as a “convoluted affair”
“It pulls in far too many directions at once,” he wrote.
“There is also a lingering suspicion that both these superheroes work better when they’re flying solo.”
Kate Muir, in the Times, gave the film two stars and said the “finger of shame” should be pointed at director Zac Snyder.
“Snyder is on a CGI-high, assaulting the viewer with noise and fury, overloaded by Hans Zimmer’s Wagnerian score,” she wrote.
David Edwards, in the Mirror, gave the film three stars as he criticised the “muddled storyline” which made it “hard to root for either superhero”.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner's marriage might be over, but they're still in each other's lives, staying close for the sake of their three kids: 10-year-old Violet, 6-year-old Seraphina, and 4-year-old Samuel.
"We're good friends and we're doing our best," Affleck told Ellen on Wednesday. "Our kids are fabulous and we're working our best for them."
The 43-year-old actor also shared an adorable anecdote about Samuel, who has apparently taken his father's role as the Caped Crusader in the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice very seriously.
"My son thinks it's really cool," Affleck said of his part in the DC superhero battle epic, which hits theaters March 26. "He came to the set, he saw me. He was a little bit suspicious too, he was like, 'Is that the real Superman?'"
Henry Cavill's Man of Steel isn't the only real-life superhero in young Samuel's world, apparently. According to Affleck, the tot now believes that his dad is actually Batman.
"He thinks I'm in the Batcave now," the actor admitted with a smile. "I say to him, 'Dad's gotta go away now,' and he goes, 'You're going to the Batcave.'"

Ireland and Irish people around the world celebrated the feast of their country's patron saint St Patrick on 17 March with gusto... and celebrities were not far behind. They shared their own celebrations of St Patrick's Day — from sporting green costumes to enjoying large glasses of Guinness to keeping it healthy with green tea popcorn.
One Directioner Niall Horan shared a photograph on Instagram and Twitter enjoying a glass of stout along with the message: "Happy St. Patrick's day everyone. Always proud of our little nation."
David Beckham, too, enjoyed a glass of Guinness and decided to share an image of it online.
Neil Patrick Harris celebrated the holiday with his twins Harper and Gideon, who were all set with their funky green sunglasses and accessories. "Happy St. Patrick's Day from NPH, David, and these two leprechauns," he captioned the image.
"It's not just about luck. When you work hard and follow your #BFOGs, anything is possible. Happy #StPatricksDay, everyone!" Tyra Banks posted, along with a picture from one of her photoshoots.
Rose McGowan uploaded a flashback image from her time working on the TV show Charmed alongside co-star Alyssa Milano. "Leprechauns made me wear the ugliest pants ever," she wrote on Instagram.
Ryan Reynolds continued with his Deadpool jokes, this time around targeting Clark Kent aka Superman. "Happy St. Paddy's day from our pal," he captioned the meme.
He also posted a message on Twitter saying: "I adore the St. Patrick's Day tradition of fighting your whole family on the front lawn after sundown."
Carrie Underwood used the day to remind people to think before they ink, referencing her clover tattoo.
Jessica Alba had a healthy St Patrick's Day (yep, that's possible) with Matcha green tea popcorn.
Mariah Carey used Paddy's Day to show off her curves in an emerald green gown.
Kourtney Kardashian posted an image of her with sister Kim, both donning green glitter hats and shamrock necklaces.
Michelle Monaghan also shared a pic of herself in a green hat and tee on Instagram.

So much Gilmore Girls excitement!
As the fan-favorite WB series prepares to return to screens in a four-part Netflix series, the cast and crew are sharing some truly epic teasers to get Gilmore fangirls super excited to return to Stars Hollow.
First, there was the amazing news that Mae Whitman, a.k.a. Lauren Graham's other TV daughter, will appear on the revival. Netflix confirmed to ET that the 27-year-old "will appear" in the series, though no other details about her role are available at this time.
Probably no one was more thrilled about the casting news than Whitman herself, who excitedly shared this photoshopped "official cast pic" when the revival was announced back in January.
Younger star Sutton Foster is also set to appear in the new episodes, and the actress -- who starred in Gilmore Girls writer and executive producer Amy Sherman-Palladino's ABC Family series Bunheads -- recently admitted to Entertainment Weekly that her "surreal" experience filming with Lauren Graham caused her to "burst into tears" after their scene.
"It was a nerd-fest for us both, and her scenes are bonkers fantastic," Graham tweeted in response.

Gal Gadot is tipped to be a scene stealer in Batman v Superman – and she certainly outshone her co-stars on the red carpet at the movie’s US premiere in New York.
The actress, who plays Wonder Woman in the new superhero blockbuster, wore a sparkly mini-dress with beaded embellishments on the “black” carpet at Radio City Music Hall.
The dress showed off the 30-year-old former fashion model’s incredibly toned figure, accentuated by her strappy silver heels.
Gal ditched heavy make-up for a more au naturel look with a touch of eyeliner and mascara, and finished off with a nude lipstick.
The Israeli actress styled her shoulder-length hair in tousled tresses with a centre parting and kept her accessories to a minimum.

The show stars Melissa Benoist as Superman’s cousin Kara Zor-El, also known as Supergirl, but who hides her identity as Cat’s assistant Kara Danvers.
Speaking at a celebration of the series at Paleyfest in Los Angeles, Calista contemplated the feminist leanings of the two roles.
She said: “Feminist means something different to everybody, to me it means choice.
“We are not fighting the battle our grandmothers fought to get the vote or go to college, we are passed all that. So there is a second, third, maybe fourth wave coming on.

The promotional blitz for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice feels like it’s already been cranked up to 11. But in the coming days as we approach the movie’s March 25 release date, expect the volume to rise to at least 15.
To that end, Warner Bros. has released a new series of TV spots for the Man of Steel/Dark Knight match-up and they reveal … honestly, not much that you probably didn’t already know. Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman is a central figure in one of the new spots, while Holly Hunter — forgot she was in this, didn’t you? — is seen and heard prominently in another.
Check them out below, and if you still haven’t gotten enough Batman v Superman promotion, visit the Warner Bros. YouTube channel to watch more ads that feature the same scenes with slightly different editing choices.

Amy Adams is willing to take a pay cut if the role is right.
The Batman v Superman actress is on the cover of British GQ and admits she knew she was being paid less than her male co-stars in American Hustle, which became public knowledge when each star's pay was revealed during the Sony hack in 2014.
"Yeah, I did," she told the magazine. "I didn't speak about it before and I'm probably not going to speak about it forever, because I disagreed with...not Jennifer [Lawrence] per se, but people who had opinions on how women should go about negotiating."
The 41-year-old actress, who earned an Oscar nomination for the part, claimed, "I knew I was being paid less and I still agreed to do it because the option comes down to do it or don't do it. So, you just have to decide if it's worth it for you. It doesn't mean I liked it."
Lawrence broke her silence about the wage gap in an essay for Lena Dunham's Lenny newsletter, asking why stars like Bradley Cooper and Christian Bale made more than her.
"I didn't want to seem 'difficult' or 'spoiled,'" the 25-year-old Oscar winner wrote. "At the time, that seemed like a fine idea, until I saw the payroll on the Internet and realized every man I was working with definitely didn't worry about being 'difficult' or 'spoiled.'"

Kara Danvers will head to Superman's Fortress of Solitude in the upcoming episode of Supergirl, which is aptly titled Solitude. CBS has released the synopsis and pictures for episode 15 airing this Monday (29 February) at 9pm EST.
The official synopsis reads as follows:
Kara travels to Superman's Fortress of Solitude in hopes of learning how to defeat Indigo (Laura Vandervoort), a dangerous being who can transport via the Internet and who has a connection to Kara's past. Also, James's relationship with Lucy reaches a crossroads.
Executive producer Andrew Kreisberg talked about building the fortress for Supergirl in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. Kreisberg shared: "Seeing the fortress is something I wanted to do since the beginning of the show."
"What's really fun about it is it's almost an amalgamation of every fortress that's ever been seen. There are bits of it that are right out of the comics, like the key to let you in, and we have Kelex, the Kryptonian robot in the tomb. Then there's other parts that echo the [Richard] Donner version as well, and there's other stuff that's brand new. That was really fun to be able to do," he added.

Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne in ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’
Long run times can be Kryptonite to moviegoers, but chances are that won’t be a problem with Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
According to the AMC Theaters website, the DC Comics movie will clock in at two hours and 31 minutes, or 151 minutes.
That is slightly longer than Man of Steel, which came in at 143 minutes, but just shorter than the 2006 box office disappointment Superman Returns, which was 153 minutes. However, Dark Knight Rises remains one of the longest superhero movies to date, with its 164 minute run time.
Starring Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill as the respective title characters, the movie sees Batman leading a crusade against Superman, believing that the Kryptonian is too powerful to be trusted.
Directed by Zack Snyder, the movie’s cast also includes Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Amy Adams as Superman’s girlfriend Lois Lane, Diane Lane as Superman’s Earth mom Martha Kent, Laurence Fishburne as Daily Planet editor Perry White, and Holly Hunter as a crusading anti-Superman U.S. senator.
The film will set up the Justice League movie, which will also star Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry, a.k.a. Aquaman. That movie is set to premiere Nov. 17, 2017.

The 32-year-old actor, who has been seeing 19-year-old college student Tara King, says in a new interview with Elle magazine that despite their age difference, they still find plenty to talk about.

"People say age is just a number. It's actually real and true sign of someone's maturity," he says. "But in this case, she's fantastic."
"When I met my girlfriend, I was super intimidated. I wanted to impress her," the Batman V. Superman star added. "I was thinking, Don't mess this up, man."
While he's completely comfortable in the relationship, Cavill admits that he understands the "natural reaction" to the couple's age difference, adding that he's dated older women before: "When I was 19, I was going out with a 32-year-old."
Asked what his former 32-year-old flame taught him, Cavill said coyly: "Things I can't mention in this article."

While Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is still two months away, Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment are already gearing up their Justice League pic, adding another A-list actor to the ensemble.
Warner Bros. Had no comment.
Amber Heard is in talks to join the cast of WB’s Justice League pic as the love interest of Jason Momoa’s Aquaman, sources close to the project tell Variety. Insiders go on to add that she would not only appear in Justice League but would also co-star with Momoa in the studio’s standalone pic that currently has James Wan on board to direct.
If a deal does close, Heard would join an ensemble that already includes Momoa, Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot and Ezra Miller, all of whom are expected to make some sort of appearance in Dawn of Justice before reprising their roles in Justice League, which is set to bow on Nov. 17, 2017. Production is set to begin this April with Zack Snyder directing from a script by Chris Terrio.

Doomsday makes his appearance in the ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ trailer
DC Comics fans were left a little stunned by the major character reveal in the recent Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer — but director Zack Snyder assures fans there are still many surprises ahead. The trailer gave us a first look at the March 25 film’s big villain, the monstrous killer Doomsday (created in the film by Lex Luthor from the corpse of Man of Steel villain Zod). In a conversation with The Daily Beast, Snyder said that he strategized carefully with Warner Bros. to drop the Doomsday bomb at exactly the right time.
“We had a long conversation about just taking ownership of that, of giving it to the audience in a controlled way that I felt was consistent with the escalation of the campaign,” said the director. And as for the idea they’ve given the whole movie away? “I know what’s in the movie, so I know there’s other stuff,” he told The Beast.
