Kesha’s painful record deal row is still rolling on.

The singer has now suggested she was made an offer in which she would be allowed out of her recording contract – if she admitted she “lied” about allegedly being sexually assaulted.

A judge ruled in February the Tik Tok hitmaker could not be released from her exclusive deal with producer Dr Luke and Sony Music despite claiming she had been abused by the producer.

She’s now hinted the company had offered her “freedom" in exchange for making a public apology for her claims.

Kesha, above, posted on Instagram: ‘So. I got offered my freedom IF I were to lie. I would have to APOLOGIIE publicly and say that I never got raped. THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS behind closed doors.’

But the 29-year-old star insisted she would rather her career be over than withdraw her allegations.

She added: ‘I will not take back the TRUTH. I would rather let the truth ruin my career than lie for a monster ever again.’

Jennifer Lopez ain’t your mama — and she ain’t making any friends among the #FreeKesha movement.

Lopez is being torn into by Kesha supporters for working with producer Dr. Luke on her new single “Ain’t Your Mama.”

Twitter erupted with wrath toward Lopez for collaborating with the producer, who has been accused of sexual abuse by “Tik Tok” singer Kesha.

“I will not buy @JLo’s new song ‘Ain’t Your Mama’ because its produced by @TheDoctorLuke. #SaveKesha #FreeKesha,” hissed one critic.

“Girl what? You call yourself a feminist and a #FreeKesha supporter yet you’re promoting a song produced by Dr Luke??” another said.

“Jennifer Lopez releasing a song written by Meghan Trainor and produced by Dr. Luke about female empowerment……………….. Makes sense,” yet another chimed in.

Adam Lambert made his return to American Idol on Thursday, debuting his new single, "Welcome to the Show," and performing one of the most famous covers from his run on season eight of the singing competition show. Lambert opened up to ET afterward about performing on the Idol stage once again.

"It's nostalgic. I've been back on the show every year since I've been off, and so each year it's something different," he said. "It's really nice to come back for the final year with a new single and to reprise 'Mad World,' which was really cool."

Lambert also opened up about Kesha, whom he recently spent time with in Nashville, Tennessee, where the embattled singer accepted the Visibility Award at the 21st Annual Human Rights Campaign Nashville Equality Dinner earlier this month.

"From what I know, she's doing really well," Lambert said. "We go way back from when we first both got signed so it was really nice to see her."

Lambert's not the only former Idol fave to return to the singing competition this year. Kelly Clarkson brought the house down in February with an emotional performance of her single "Piece by Piece," which brought even the judges to tears.

Kesha's lawyers filed a notice of appeal on Monday to attempt to overturn Judge Shirley Kornreich's February decision to deny the singer an injunction on her recording contract, effectively keeping her in contract with Sony and several of the company's imprints associated with producer Dr. Luke, whom Kesha has accused of drugging and sexually assaulting her. Dr. Luke has denied any wrongdoing in the case, calling the singer's claims "outright lies."

In a pre-argument statement obtained by ET, Kesha's lawyer, Mark Geragos, stated that the singer is seeking a reversal of the decision based on three main points, the first being that "the Court erred in basing its decision on its finding that Kesha could record without interference from Gottwald."

"Although it recognized that 'slavery was done away with a long time ago' and that 'you can't force someone to work . . . in a situation in which they don't want to work,' the Court's ruling requiring Kesha to work for Gottwald's companies, purportedly without his involvement, does just that," the statement read. "As the Court itself recognized, 'It's slavery. You can't do that.'"

Ariana Grande joined Carson Daly on 97.1 AMP Radio's Daly Download on Friday, and opened up about her support for Kesha.

"I love Kesha," Grande, 22, said of the 29-year-old pop singer and songwriter, who penned her 2014 track, "Pink Champagne." "I worked with her when I was a lot younger. We've been friends, I support her, regardless of what's going on."

Grande noted that the two never discussed the details of Kesha's alleged abuse by producer Dr. Luke -- the basis of an ongoing legal battle between the singer, producer and Sony -- but that she supports her fight to regain creative control of her music.

"The incredible double standards that we [women] face on a daily basis, in the industry and just in the world, it's shocking," Grande said. "I would be so amused, and pardon me if this comes across as sexist, but I don't think a male artist would be in this position right now. Sorry."

Grande's not worried, however, about being open in her support of Kesha.

On Feb. 19, Kesha Rose Sebert sat in Manhattan’s New York State Supreme Court building, tears streaming down her cheeks. Judge Shirley Werner Kornreich had just denied a preliminary injunction that would have allowed Kesha to record music outside her six-album contract with producer Lukasz Sebastian Gottwald, better-known as Dr. Luke – and, according to a lawsuit she brought against him in October 2014, her alleged rapist.

That lawsuit not only described how Dr. Luke, now 42, drugged and raped Kesha, 29. It also claimed that Luke controlled and psychologically abused the singer from the time she moved to Los Angeles to pursue her career in 2005 through her breakthrough in 2010 and beyond. “Dr. Luke has been tyrannical and abusive since our relationship began,” Kesha, who’s represented by the high-profile attorney Mark Geragos, stated in an affidavit from September 2015. “I was too young and naive to even understand what he was doing to me.”

“She was a prisoner,” Kesha’s mother, Rosemary Patricia “Pebe” Sebert, says today. During several hours-long phone calls from Nashville, where she lives, Pebe, 60, a successful songwriter – she can be seen sitting next to a sobbing Kesha in the courtroom photo that ricocheted across news sites and social media in February – spoke exclusively to Billboard about Kesha’s 10-plus-year relationship with the Grammy-nominated producer. (Kesha declined to speak with Billboard.) “It was like someone who beats you every day and hangs you from a chain and then comes in and gives you a piece of bread. Luke would say, ‘You look nice today,‘ ” says Pebe, “and send her into hysterics of happiness because she was programmed to expect nothing but abuse.”

Kesha, a platinum-selling artist with 10 top 10 singles on the Billboard Hot 100, hasn’t released any music of her own since her second album, Warrior, in 2012, because she refuses to work with Dr. Luke and his partner, Sony Music. “Kesha’s allowed to work with another producer,” Pebe (pronounced pee-bee) explains (and Sony confirms). “But Luke gets to approve them. He gets to approve of anyone she works with. He has final say over everything.”

Some more good news for Kesha today – after it’s been revealed that the singer has landed a guest role in the hit show ‘Nashville’.

Love, love, love this!

According to the ever-reliable Hollywood Reporter, the 'We R Who We R’ singer is set to join country singers Thomas Rhett and Kelsea Ballerini for separate one-episode appearances in the coming months.

The show, which revolves around the lives of country music singers and stars Hayden Panettiere and Connie Briton, will see Kesha appear as herself.

It’s obviously not the first time the singer’s hit the small screen – she’s appeared in 'Jane The Virgin’, as well as popping up in an episode of iconic noughties staple, 'The Simple Life’ where her and her mum got to hang about with Nicole Ritchie and Paris Hilton all day.

The guest appearance is good news for the Tik-Tok singer’s career, which is currently in disarray thanks to a legal battle with her alleged abuser, Dr Luke.

Kesha’s mum, Rosemary Patricia “Pebe” Sebert, has spoken out about the singer’s legal battle with producer Dr Luke, claiming he ‘almost destroyed them’ and sharing alleged harrowing details of the pair’s relationship.

Last month the world was left stunned when a court ruled that Kesha must remain on her contract with Sony Music and producer Dr. Luke despite the singer alleging that Dr. Luke had emotionally abused and raped her.

Stars, including Lady Gaga, rallied around Kesha with many coming forward with their own negative experiences of working with the producer, and now Kelly Clarkson has claimed that she was “blackmailed” into working with him.

Although the American Idol star said that she didn’t know anything about Kesha’s personal situation, she did say that she had first-hand experience with Dr. Luke that showed he is “not a good person”.

Speaking on Australia’s KIIS 106.5 Kelly explained: “I’ll be honest about the guy, but I don’t know that situation. He’s not a good person, to me. We’ve clashed. He’s difficult to work with, he’s kind of demeaning.

Lady Gaga's dramatic Oscars performance hit a strong note with Kesha.

Shortly after Gaga took the stage to perform her Academy Award-nominated song, "Til It Happens to You," following a strong introduction from Vice President Joe Biden, Kesha tweeted out her appreciation for the powerful moment.

"thank u @ladygaga and VP @JoeBiden for bringing attention to sexual assault at the oscars," Kesha tweeted. "it hit very close to my heart for obvious reasons."

Kesha and Gaga have grown close in recent weeks, as the former is currently embroiled in a lawsuit in which she accuses music producer Dr. Luke (real name: Lukasz Gottwald) of drugging and raping her a decade ago. Dr. Luke has denied all wrongdoing.

Earlier this month, a judge denied Kesha's preliminary injunction request to be let out of her contract with Dr. Luke and Sony Music's Kemosabe Records. Throughout the ongoing legal turmoil, Gaga has publicly supported Kesha.

Even on Sunday afternoon, Gaga tweeted a special message to her friend.

Lady Gaga is continuing to show her amazing support for Kesha in her legal battle with Dr Luke, with the Oscar nominee tweeting to say she was thinking of the ‘Tik Tok’ singer during her stunning performance at the 2016 Oscars.

The song was written for ‘The Hunting Ground’, a documentary about rape culture on college campuses.

Before giving her emotional performance on the night, Lady Gaga, who was joined on stage by sexual assault survivors, tweeted Kesha to let her know she was in her thoughts.

She wrote: “@kesharose I’ll be thinking of u 2nite. This is not over we’ll stand by u until you are free to live a HAPPY life. Everyone deserves that. [sic]”

Kesha has since taken to her own social media to thank Lady Gaga, tweeting: “thank u @ladygaga and VP @JoeBiden for bringing attention to sexual assault at the oscars. it hit very close to my heart for obvious reasons [sic]”.

Kesha took to social media on Tuesday to express her thanks for the outpouring of support after a judge denied a preliminary injunction to leave her contract with Sony Music and songwriter/producer Dr. Luke, whom the singer has accused of drugging and raping her.

"I am beyond words in gratitude," Kesha, 28, captioned a selfie. "Thank you is not enough but it is all I have. A million times over and forever thank you."

"The support I have received has left my face swollen from tears," she added. "I love you all so much. ❤️ a statement too large for this format is coming...."

The singer received messages of support from fans as well as many of her peers in the music industry after the ruling last week. Taylor Swift even donated $250,000 to the singer to help with legal fees and personal expenses.

Kesha has alleged that Dr. Luke (real name: Lukasz Gottwald), 42, drugged and raped her over a decade ago and consistently abused her physically and emotionally. Dr. Luke has denied any wrongdoing, and on Monday, his attorney released a statement to ET calling the singer's claims "outright lies."

Fans and music industry insiders alike have rushed to support Kesha after a court ruled last Friday that she could not be released from her contract with Sony and its imprint Kemosabe Records, owned by Dr. Luke, the producer she says raped her. On Facebook Wednesday, Kesha thanked those who have her back and “entertainers who knowingly put their own careers at stake by supporting me.”

In the letter, Kesha responds to Dr. Luke’s claims that she’s suing him to break her contract: “This case has never been about a renegotiation of my record contract – it was never about getting a bigger, or a better deal. This is about being free from my abuser.”

You can read the full letter here:

I’m so, so beyond humbled and thankful for all of the support I’ve received from everyone. Words cannot really express the emotions I’ve gone through reading and seeing how amazing everyone has been to me. I can’t believe that so many people all over the world took the time to show me support and love. Other entertainers who knowingly put their own careers at stake by supporting me, I will be forever grateful.

All I ever wanted was to be able to make music without being afraid, scared, or abused. This case has never been about a renegotiation of my record contract — it was never about getting a bigger, or a better deal. This is about being free from my abuser. I would be willing to work with Sony if they do the right thing and break all ties that bind me to my abuser.

But at this point, this issue is bigger than just about me.

I think about young girls today — I don’t want my future daughter — or your daughter – or any person to be afraid that they will be punished if they speak out about being abused, especially if their abuser is in a position of power.

Unfortunately I don’t think that my case is giving people who have been abused confidence that they can speak out, and that’s a problem.

But I just want to say that if you have been abused, please don’t be afraid to speak out. There are places that will make you feel safe. There are people who will help you. I for one, will stand beside you and behind you. I know now how this all feels and will forever fight for you the way perfect strangers have been fighting for me.

Yes, I am very much a feminist, but more than that, I am a humanist. I believe in supporting my fellow human beings in being SAFE.

We’re all in this together. You are not alone.

I love you and thank you.

Kesha has cancelled her upcoming performance at Loyola University Chicago, according to the university's Department of Programming.

According to the announcement, the department was "notified that Kesha will no longer be able to perform at Loyola's annual Colossus weekend due to personal reasons."

The "Crazy Kids" singer has been at the center of legal drama after she lost a preliminary injunction last week that would have let her out of her contract with producer Dr. Luke -- whom Kesha has accused of drugging and raping her over a decade ago and consistently abusing her physically and emotionally.

No surprise here: Adele was the night’s first big winner at the Brit Awards, where she took home a trophy for Best Solo Female Artist.

But it was Adele’s acceptance speech that will likely have fans talking. At the end of her thank you remarks, the “Hello” singer announced, “I’d also like to take this moment to publicly support Kesha."

Adele, it should be noted, is a Columbia artist, which is under Sony – the same corporation Kesha is suing to be released from her contract.

Just an hour ago, Kesha posted a public statement on her Facebook page, writing, "Other entertainers who knowingly put their own careers at stake by supporting me, I will be forever grateful.”

Though Demi didn’t mention Taylor directly, she received a lot of heat from Swifty’s fans after she tweeted: “Take something to Capitol Hill or actually speak out about something and then I’ll be impressed.”

When one fan of Taylor shared screenshots of Demi’s tweets on Instagram and accused her of making this a ‘rivalry’, the ‘Cool For The Summer’ singer responded: “How the f**k am I making it about myself?… Not everyone has 250k to just give to people. Would love to but I didn’t grow up with money and def haven’t made as much as her.

“At least I speak up about s**t that’s uncomfortable to talk about rather than trying to be politically correct 24/7.”

After several passionate tweets about taking action for women’s rights in light of Kesha’s trial against Sony, Demi Lovato has posted a lengthy statement on her Instagram that clarified her tweets, which were taken as an attack on Taylor Swift, as well as speaking out on behalf of rape victims who may fear coming forward.

“As most people know, I tend to get fired up about the things I believe in,” Lovato wrote next to a graphic from The Enliven Project that details the percentage of rapists who are reported, put to trial, jailed and falsely accused compared to the number who go unreported. “Although my heart and intentions are always in the right place, unfortunately sometimes my passion gets the best of me and causes me to say things that I probably shouldn’t say.”

Lovato asserted that “the focus should be on the topic of victims of sexual and physical abuse being afraid to come forward with their stories.” While not referencing the accusations that she had been directing her critical tweets at Swift, Lovato noted the real aim of her harsh words on speaking up for people like Kesha. “All I want to see is women coming together and actually making a difference.”

Kesha has been crying so much that her face is puffy … but in a good way.

The “Tik Tok” singer took to Instagram on Tuesday to thank fans for their support as she slogs through a lawsuit against her producer Dr. Luke.

She went on to say that she is “beyond words in gratitude” for the support she’s received, adding that the encouragement “has left my face swollen from tears.”

The singer added that “a statement too large for this format is coming…”

Kesh is suing Dr. Luke, claiming that he sexually and emotionally abused her. She’s also suing Sony.

Last week, Kesha suffered a legal setback in her case, as a judge shot down her effort to get out of her recording contract. The judge contended that Kesha could record for Sony with a producer other than Dr. Luke.

Demi Lovato wants us to remember what’s important.

After posting a tweet that seemed to criticize Taylor Swift’s $250,000 donation to support Kesha’s legal battles in which Lovato said that the 1989 singer should have been more vocal, the 23-year-old has taken a step back to clarify her remarks.

“As most people know, I tend to get fired up about the things I believe in, and although my heart and intentions are always in the right place, unfortunately sometimes my passion gets the best of me and causes me to say things that I probably shouldn’t say,” the “Confident” singer wrote on Instagram. “And when doing so it takes away from the real reason I am speaking up in the first place.”

“Our focus should be on the topic of victims of sexual and physical abuse being afraid to come forward with their stories,” she continued. “They’re more likely to face retaliation and harassment than to see justice being served. Especially women. It baffles me that when it comes to serious issues like equality and abuse, too often women are not taken as seriously as men.”

“All I want to see is women coming together and actually making a difference. A real change and shift in society,” the post concluded. “Everyone has their own way of giving support to others, and at the end of the day, helping victims is all that matters. Ultimately, the message I want people to hear is it’s okay to come forward with your abuse and if you do decide to take action, you are not alone.”

The message was paired with an infographic aiming to show the amount of rapes that go unreported vs. those where the accused actually serve jail time for the charged crime.

Taylor Swift has joined many celebrities showing incredible support for Kesha by donating $250,000 - although not everyone appears to be happy about it.

On Friday, a judge denied Kesha an injunction which would allow her to release music outside of her contract with Sony and Dr Luke.

Kesha originally filed a lawsuit against producer Dr Luke, real name Lukasz Gottwald, in 2014, claiming he drugged her and ‘sexually, physically, verbally and emotionally’ abused her.

Despite this, a judge has denied Kesha’s pleas to let her record music without him, leaving the singer in tears in the courtroom.

BuzzFeed reports that Sony have said she can record with another producer, but her attorney, Mark Geragos, says the promise cannot be trusted because the label are ‘setting her up for failure’.

While many celebrities, including Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande and Kelly Clarkson, have tweeted their support for Kesha (#FreeKesha), Taylor Swift has been criticised for not saying anything.

Now though, it’s been revealed that she’s actually shown her support in a different way, donating $250,000 to help Kesha with any ‘financial needs’.

Taylor’s spokesperson told E! News: “In a show of support, Taylor Swift has donated $250,000 to Kesha to help with any of her financial needs during this trying time.”

Kesha’s mum has also tweeted to show her gratitude for the donation:

However, Demi Lovato, who has already tweeted her support for Kesha and shared some powerful thoughts about female empowerment, isn’t quite so impressed with Taylor’s donation.

Demi initially tweeted: “Take something to Capitol Hill or actually speak out about something and then I’ll be impressed”, prompting a big response from Taylor’s fans.

On Friday, pop star Kesha Rose Sebert and songwriter-producer Dr. Luke (Lukasz Gottwald) squared off in a New York courtroom in a contentious dispute where the sanctity of a recording contract is being examined in light of sexual abuse allegations. Dr. Luke has come out ahead.

Kesha, who alleges that Dr. Luke drugged and raped her a decade ago and has committed ongoing abuse, has been pushing for a preliminary injunction that would allow her to record outside of Dr. Luke’s purview. Her attorneys have told the judge that the careers of pop stars are short and that if an injunction doesn’t issue, the irreparable harm she faces is a ruined career. After being briefed on the arguments, New York Supreme Court Justice Shirley Kornreich was skeptical.

“You’re asking the court to decimate a contract that was heavily negotiated and typical for the industry,” said the judge to Mark Geragos, the attorney for Kesha, who sat in the back row with her mother Pebe and looked solemn.

Kornreich heard arguments that Dr. Luke had invested a substantial amount — $60 million in her career — and that the producer had agreed to allow her to record without his involvement. The judge told Geragos that “decimates your argument,” adding, “My instinct is to do the commercially reasonable thing.”

Her decision to deny an injunction came amid planned protests from Kesha fans outside the courtroom.
