He’s taken Albert Square by storm after proving himself to be a hit with critics and fans alike.

Now, it’s been rumoured that Danny Dyer’s very own daughter could be heading to EastEnders, after the cockney actor tried to convince show bosses to give her a part on the BBC soap.

19-year-old Dani already has some acting experience under her belt – appearing in indie flick ’ We Still Kill The Old Way’ last year - and speaking to The Sun this weekend, a source close to the show said that she’s been brought down to the set by her father several times, and that he’s keen to get her a permanent role:

“Danny reckons he has the power to get Dani in as a permanent star on EastEnders,“ a source told the newspaper.

“He has been putting the odd word in with the producers and has even brought her down to the set once or twice.”

“Dani has the potential to be a big star and her dad is hugely supportive of her. Given how popular he is on the show, she is in a great position, too.”

The EastEnders’ actor stars in the vid for ‘Nebraska’ and plays a struggling hardman who realises that it is his dream to perform on stage in drag.

Tracking Danny’s inner turmoil as he comes to terms with his identity, the video reaches its climax as the cockney geezer pulls on a sequin dress, wig, and dons perfect make-up in front of a cheering crowd.

And we have to admit, the acting is more than a little bit impressive throughout.

Danny is understandably proud of his new project and took to his Twitter page to big up the finished video, the star wrote: “Just be who you want/ need to be” after sharing a snapshot of himself in full drag from the shoot.

The beautiful video will no doubt help to turn Danny’s reputation around, with the actor repeatedly insisting that he isn’t quite as hard as his public persona makes him out to be - in fact, underneath it all he’s a big softie with a brill moral compass.

And we think that 'Nebraska’ proves that he’s not only an all-round great guy, but a terrific actor too.

Kudos to Danny and Lucy Rose on a truly amazing video.

From Digital Spy

EastEnders' Danny Dyer is clearly in touch with his emotions, as he is crying "every night" while his daughter Dani is away from home taking part in Love Island.

Danny's wife Jo Mas made the revelation during an appearance on spin-off show Aftersun last night (July 15), admitting that he's also "a bit jealous" of the fun Dani is having.

"I think he's a bit jealous, he does cry a lot. Every night," Jo told Caroline Flack. "He really misses her."

As for Dani's new boyfriend, it seems he's earned the all-important mum-approval, with Jo adding: "I like Jack [Fincham]. I trust him yeah. I think he's caring for Dani, I think he's got her back."

Asked if she's seen Dani this happy in a relationship before, she said: "Yes I have, but I've not actually been a part of her progressing, so it's weird. She's really happy.

"She's got her morals. She knows she doesn't need to use her body in any relationship because she's got a personality."

Despite the fact that Dani and Jack are the show's golden couple, viewers aren't best pleased with them for betraying Charlie Brake's secret.

Charlie confided in Jack that his family sold a huge food business in the past and have a multi-million pound fortune as a result.

But, admitting that he worries his financial situation can attract women for the wrong reasons, he asked Jack to keep the news under his hat.

Well, you can guess what happened next...

He’s been skulking around bushes and getting punched in the face by Martin Fowler for months now, but last night Kyle Slater finally got his first proper EastEnders’ scenes and they could not have been more heartrending.

The half-brother of show favourite Stacey Slater, Kyle (played by Riley Carter Millington) was forced to reveal that he used to be Stacey’s half-sister, Sarah, when the mum-of-two refused to believe that they were related because she knew her dad only had three daughters with his mistress.

Following Kyle’s big admission, the two characters had a poignant heart-to-heart where Kyle explained to his sister, and indeed the viewers at home, what it was like to grow up in the wrong sex before transitioning as a teenager.

Kyle then revealed that his family had cut all ties with him and he had nowhere else to go, prompting Stace to offer him her and Martin’s spare bedroom.

EastEnders’ fans were in for a surprise last night when the BBC One, family-friendly soap took a rather raunchy turn in a hotel bathroom.

The sizzling scenes airing before the 9pm watershed saw characters Ronnie Mitchell and Jack Branning get hot and heavy as they took a shower together, with stunned viewers taking to their Twitter accounts to comment on the saucy episode.

With ‘Jack and Ronnie’ soon being one of the top trends in the UK, fans shared:

Despite the sexy hotel activity, things almost didn’t work out for the two former lovebirds, with Ronnie getting cold feet at the first opportunity and rushing back to her house to have a go at her alcoholic cousin, Phil Mitchell.

Thankfully, Jack isn’t one to give up without a fight and soon turned up at her door like a true knight in shining armour, with the two soon giggling their way upstairs for what we can only presume was round two.

Danny Dyer said he has been a “typical man” about his forthcoming summer wedding by leaving the preparations to his fiancee.

The EastEnders star, who has become a favourite with viewers as Mick Carter, opened up about his imminent marriage to childhood sweetheart Joanne Mas.

During an interview with Hello! magazine, the 38-year-old actor revealed he will have a Spanish-themed wedding in the English countryside. But he is not in charge of the big day.

“I have been a typical man about the wedding,” the Londoner said. “I have left it to the missus. At this stage, I am just a guest. I don’t even know the postcode!”

Danny’s long-term partner surprised him last year when she popped the question on Valentine’s Day.

The couple, who met at school when they were both 14, have three children together: Dani, 19, Sunnie, almost nine, and two-year-old Arty. Their long relationship has survived several obstacles, including Danny’s past infidelity.

Jacqueline Jossa has taken to her Twitter account in a fury after being interrogated about her relationship with fiance Dan Osborne on live TV.

Eek.

The EastEnders’ actress appeared on ITV’s Loose Women earlier today and was left fuming when the presenters decided to focus on Dan instead of herself being mum to thirteen-month-old baby Ella, which she was lead to believe.

Explaining that she was told the piece would be about young mums, Jacqueline was forced into discussing Dan and the audio footage released last year that saw the TOWIE star threaten to stab his ex-girlfriend, Megan Tomlin.

Jacqueline ranted: “Can’t express how upset I am, was told the interview on loose women today was to be about being a young mum and going back to work. Don’t know who’s fault it was, but I made it clear I didn’t want to dwell on the past, and answer certain questions.

"Going on live tv is hard enough for me, but be told they would just touch on certain things, and them do the complete opposite is unfair. Wouldn’t have done it otherwise, bored of talking about it all now! Was just unfair!

Danniella Westbrook has said she is “really excited” to be returning to EastEnders after a six-year absence.

The actress and reality television star, who has fought a high-profile battle with drug addiction, will step into Albert Square for several episodes of the BBC soap later this year.

She will make a “brief appearance” as Samantha Mitchell in special episodes showing the funeral of her on-screen mother Peggy (Barbara Windsor) after her death from cancer, a spokesman for the soap said.

Danniella, 42, said: “I’m really excited to be going back to EastEnders. It feels right that the Mitchells are all back for Peggy’s funeral and I can’t wait to work alongside everyone again.”

The Londoner has played Sam, the sister of Phil and Grant Mitchell, in the soap on and off since 1990.

She fought a very public battle with cocaine addiction, which at a low point left her with a completely eroded nasal septum. Danniella has written books on her experiences and spoken about her struggle in interviews.

Egyptologist Dr Chris Naunton has said it is “vital” to see television programmes about history and archaeology alongside EastEnders and Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

The expert on ancient Egypt is featured in two Channel 5 documentaries which are scheduled for broadcast on Friday.

In the first at 8pm, The Lost City Of The Pharaohs charts the discovery of Ramesses the Great’s lost city of Pi-Ramesses.

It will be followed by a programme about King Tutankhamun called King Tut’s Tomb: The Hidden Chamber, in which, for the first time ever on TV, evidence will be presented supporting the theory that Queen Nefertiti is buried in a chamber next to his tomb.

“It’s great that we can get on Channel 5,” Dr Naunton told the Press Association.

“History and archaeology and understanding the past is an enriching thing. The reality is that if anyone is ever going to get interested enough to think about the past like that, we need films like these to be given a platform.”

Soap star Michelle Collins and former England footballer Stuart Pearce are among the seven celebrities who have signed up for Bear Grylls: Mission Survive.

Michelle made her name as Cindy Beale in BBC One’s EastEnders and played Coronation Street landlady Stella Price from 2011-2014.

The footballer, 53, was known to millions of fans by the nickname Psycho due to his uncompromising style of play. He is best remembered for his playing days at Nottingham Forest, though he has also been a manager.

The ITV series, presented by Bear, will see the seven celebrities battle through the wilds of Africa on a 12-day survival expedition.

They will be pushed to their psychological and physical limits in order to see who has the qualities needed to become Bear’s mission survivor.

In addition to Michelle and Stuart, Grantchester actor Neil Morrissey, Les Miserables actress Samantha Barks and Casualty’s Chelsee Healey will join Arsenal and England Ladies footballer Alex Scott and choreographer Jason Gardiner, best known for being the acerbic judge on ITV’s Dancing On Ice, have all signed up.

Get yer nut round this ya slaaaags.

EastEnders ‘hardman’ Danny Dyer has been shortlisted for a trophy at the British Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Awards.

The 38-year-old, who plays pub landlord Mick Carter on EastEnders, has stiff competition.

He’s shortlisted in the Celebrity Straight Ally category that honours straight heterosexual stars who have supported the LGBT community.

Danny’s up against Bette Midler, Kim Cattrall, Jennifer Saunders, Nigella Lawson, Holly Willoughby, Brian May and Hollyoaks actor James Suttton, who plays gay teacher John Paul McQueen in the soap.

The nod for Danny comes after his EastEnders character accepted son Johnny coming out as gay on the show – who it was announced this week will soon be played by theatre actor Ted Reilly.

Danny’s chance at getting the gong – which would be his second this year after he picked up Best Serial Drama Performance for his role in EastEnders at January’s National Television Awards, above – will be helped by his experience shutting down homophobic trolls on Twitter.

Soap star and new mother Jacqueline Jossa said she is “itching” for a return to the EastEnders cast, having endured a year-long speculation about her relationship with fiance Dan Osborne.

The 23-year-old, currently on hiatus in her role as Lauren Branning in the BBC series, said she has had to delete social media apps after responding to allegations about former The Only Way Is Essex (Towie) regular Dan.

Jacqueline, who gave birth to daughter Ella last year, told The Sun On Sunday’s Fabulous magazine: “There are people who have always had it in for us, a million per cent. Definitely, and I know who they are. And then a lot of people just jumped on the bandwagon and tried to create drama.”

She said her family has become “an easy target” for online trolls, and added: “I’m a very outspoken person, so I have to delete tweets after I post them a lot of the time.

“I deleted all the apps off my phone for a couple of months when it was getting really bad and I just got on with my life instead. Why am I even paying attention to ‘Gaz1237′ anyway? Like, who the hell are you?”

Celebrity Big Brother is pretty much the only decent thing about January and with just two days to go before it kicks off we didn’t think that we could be any more excited… until the “full list” of housemates reportedly leaked online.

And trust us when we say that it is a pretty ruddy good list.

Top of the list is former EastEnders star Danniella Westbrook, her close friend and former X Factor contestant, Christopher Maloney, and TOWIE’s Gemma Collins.

Strictly Come Dancing professional, Kristina Rihanoff, is also said to be taking part, as well as David Gest, Nancy Dell'olio, Geordie Shore’s Scotty T, David Bowie’s ex-wife, Angie, and sacked Hollyoaks’ star, Stephanie Davis.

Completing the line-up is UKIP’s Winston McKenzie, Darren Day, Jonathan Cheban, and US reality star, Tiffany Pollard.

although host Emma Willis did tease that this year’s line-up is pretty bloomin’ fantastic.

"But they just keep matching it or doing even better with every series. They are so fantastic at getting the right types of people.

Celebrity Big Brother kicks off on Tuesday 5th January at 9pm on Channel 5.

2015 has been a blockbuster year in television, from Game of Thrones’ fifth season to the ‘Who killed Lucy Beale?’ storyline in EastEnders.

It was a big year of change for Simon Cowell’s reality music competition as we said goodbye to long-time judge Louis Walsh and presenter Dermot O’Leary. Instead, we said welcome back to former Xtra Factor hosts Caroline Flack and Olly Murs and hello to new judges Nick Grimshaw and Rita Ora. While ratings may be on the slide, The X Factor - now in its eleventh series - continues to be one of Britain’s most popular Saturday night shows. This year’s contestants included Anton Stephans, Seann Miley Moore, Che Chesterman and the infectious sisters from the Philippines, 4th Impact. We’re still not over Mason Noise’s bootcamp meltdown…

The Voice returned for its fourth series on BBC One in January and began the year with a bang. Months before joining The X Factor family, Rita Ora honed her skills as a talent show judge when she replaced Kylie Minogue on the judging panel. The series was won by Scottish singer Stevie McCrorie, who was a member of Ricky Wilson’s team. [Photo: Wenn]

Britain’s Got Talent thrilled audiences again this year with another dancing dog act as Jules O’Dwyer and her dog Matisse won over the public’s hearts with their daring routines, including a tight-rope walk. The ninth series also saw magician Jamie Raven and Welsh choir Côr Glanaethwy impress viewers. However, BGT came under some fire when it was revealed that one of Jules’ other dogs, Chase, had performed part of Jules and Matisse’s routine in the final. The switch led to over 800 Ofcom complaints.

It was a big year in the Yorkshire dales and there was one common denominator when it came to drama: Robert Sugden. The villainous character began 2015 by accidentally killing his sister-in-law Katie Sugden and then caused one of Emmerdale’s biggest disaster storylines yet - a helicopter crash. Naturally, the chopper crashed into a barn hosting Debbie Dingle’s wedding and killed Val Pollard and Ruby Haswell. Multiple residents on the ITV soap later became suspects in Robert’s shooting. A highly anticipated flashback episode revealed that the shooter was none other than Ross Barton.

The BBC has got to be popping the champagne this year as its hit dancing competition has been pulling in on average four million more viewers than rival show X Factor. This year’s celebrity contestants include Peter Andre, Jay McGuinness and TV presenter Anita Rani, who are all favourites to win. As always, it wouldn’t be Strictly without some dancing duds and this year Iwan Thomas was the first to go, while chef Ainsley Harriot lasted longer than expected. The series also marks the last for professional dancer Ola Jordan, who has appeared on Strictly for nearly a decade. [Photo: BBC/Guy Levy]

Just as we began recovering from season four, it was already time for the fifth season of Game of Thrones. With Tyrion Lannister now an outcast, he sought an alliance with Daenerys Targaryen, prompting their first scenes together in the show’s history. Meanwhile, in King’s Landing, Cersei Lannister found her own plotting turn against her as she was imprisoned by the religious anarchists, the Sparrows, and forced to confess to various sins. There was even a heartbreaking scene in which she was forced to walk through the city, completely naked, while a nun yelled “Shame”. And in perhaps Game of Thrones’ biggest cliffhangers yet, the season ended with the death of beloved character Jon Snow. We’re still not over it!

There’s never a dull year in Weatherfield and 2015 was no exception. The year started with a mini-bus crash, leaving fan favourites including Steve McDonald and Carla Connor in peril. That wasn’t the only big stunt of the year as in May, Tracy Barlow started a fire at a block of flats in an attempt to kill her rival, Carla. Unfortunately for her, the fire instead killed Kal Nazir. The Platts also had a tumultuous year in Corrie as Sarah returned to Weatherfield with her daughter Bethany but soon found herself mixed up in brother David’s drama with his stepson Max. Max’s father Callum Logan terrorises the family with attacks on Sarah’s ex Jason Grimshaw and even drugs Sarah. The storyline came to a dramatic climax in a live episode in September when Callum finally got his comeuppance and was killed by ex-girlfriend Kylie Platt. Corrie also said goodbye to legendary character Deirdre Barlow, who died off-screen in July, several months after actress Anne Kirkbride passed away in January.

In perhaps the most controversial series yet, Big Brother returned to screens in May with a ‘Timebomb’ theme. This series saw another group of fame-seekers live together with Chloe Wilburn eventually win the series in July. The show’s time warp theme saw numerous blasts from the past return to the famous Big Brother house including Nikki Grahame, Brian Belo, Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace and the previous year’s winner Helen Wood. Helen’s return to the house sparked over 1000 Ofcom complaints after she teared into happy-go-lucky Brian, saying he looked like a ‘rapist and murderer’.

Yes, the most popular TV show of 2015 is EastEnders. And is it any surprise? The BBC One soap finally revealed Lucy Beale’s killer in a week of revelations to mark its 30th anniversary in February. Yes, little Bobby Beale offed his own sister with a music box - and the nation was gripped with millions of viewers tuning in for EastEnders’ week of anniversary episodes. There were further shocks over the course of the year as Dean Wicks managed to avoid jail for raping Linda Carter and viewers saw the return of the presumed-dead Kathy Beale. Kathy returned to the soap and reunited with her sons Ian Beale and Ben Mitchell, but her return also led to a new villain terrorising Walford - her new husband Gavin Sullivan. The gangster was even revealed to be Sharon Mitchell’s biological father. What a year in Albert Square!

Three couples are at risk of being dumped from Love Island ahead of the show’s final on Monday after they were put up for a public vote by their fellow contestants.

During Friday’s episode of the ITV2 reality show the five remaining pairs were asked to vote privately amongst themselves for the couple they thought should be next to leave the villa.

Alex George and Alexandra Cane received three votes, Kazimir Crossley and Josh Denzel had one and Laura Anderson and Paul Knops also got one vote.

Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer voted for Paul and Laura, and Alex and Alexandra opted for Josh and Kazimir.

Wes Nelson and Megan Barton Hanson, Josh and Kazimir and Paul and Laura all voted for Alex and Alexandra, who had made friends after an acrimonious split on Thursday.

Viewers were then invited to vote in order to save one of the three vulnerable couples. The pair with the fewest votes will be dumped from the show. The result will be revealed on Sunday’s episode.

Wes and Megan and Jack and Danny did not receive any votes and are therefore set to feature in the final where the winners will take home £50,000.

The episode ended with a teaser clip for Sunday’s instalment where the contestants will also get the opportunity to meet their partners’ parents.

Fans were given a glimpse of Dani’s father, EastEnders actor Danny Dyer, speaking to her and Jack via video link.

The Football Factory and Human Traffic star could be heard saying “Where is he?!” in the short clip.

Love Island couple Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham appear to have got their relationship back on track after they fell out following the lie detector test.

The pair had continued to argue after the test showed Jack might be tempted by other girls when they leave the villa. Jack had labelled his partner “pathetic” after she stormed away from their conversation about the test.

During Tuesday’s episode of the ITV2 reality show, the daughter of EastEnders star Danny Dyer told Jack in bed she would leave the villa over their dispute, saying: “I’m going home tomorrow.”

Jack dismissively responded: “What time’s your flight?”

The following morning Dani told the other girls on the terrace the previous night was “terrible” and she wanted to resolve their issues.

When the pair came face-to-face, Jack insisted Dani had nothing to worry about.

He said: “The only thing I can say to you is that when we leave, you’ll see that you have nothing to worry about, you really have got nothing to worry about.

“But essentially, I love you, want to be with you, and I want to have a family. That’s what I want out of us two and I’m so happy that I’ve found it.”

The pair then both said that they loved one another and embraced. Viewers later saw them playing a game and being affectionate towards each other.

After they made amends Dani said in the Beach Hut: “I felt like we had both calmed down this morning and we’d slept on it.

“I think in any relationship if anything’s bothered you or upset you, say it there and then and move forward from it. Work around it, rather than just attacking each other. We’ll be fine.”

Jack and Dani have long been bookmakers’ favourites to win the fourth series of the show and many of their fellow contestants have said they are the strongest couple in the villa.

Ever since Dani Dyer entered the Love Island villa, viewers have been hoping Danny Dyer would make an appearance.

When the contestant's famous father Tweeted he was "off to the villa... to sign my future son-in-law's canvas," fans began to believe the Eastenders actor could actually be heading to Spain.

Then, on Sunday, as the show was gearing up for the fourth series' final week (meaning the infamous 'Meet the Parents' episode would be on the way), Danny was spotted at the airport with wife Jo Mas, convincing fans that a Love Island appearance was inevitable.

However, doubt has now been cast as Danny and Jo have been pictured on holiday in America. One person managed to snap a photo with Danny in Disney's Hollywood Studios, Love Island fans concluding that Danny probably won't be heading to Majorca, where the series is filmed.

While there's still time for Danny to get on another plane and fly to Spain before the series concludes on Monday, the chances seem very slim.

Meanwhile, on Love Island continues on ITV2, with Dani and Jack recently rowing over the results of a lie detector test. Read all about last night's episode (Monday, 23 July) here.

The long-anticipated lie detector test will put a strain on relationships in the Love Island villa.

Dani Dyer will try to establish if Jack Fincham is a trustworthy boyfriend when she grills him as he is hooked up to a machine.

The couple have been together since the beginning of the series and are favourites to win the £50,000 prize at the end of the ITV2 dating show.

The daughter of EastEnders star Danny Dyer will attempt to find out if the stationery salesman is interested in her or just her famous father when the girls are given the power to draw up questions for the boys.

In scenes that will air on Monday’s episode, she tells the Beach Hut: “I’ve been cheated on, I’ve been lied to. I’ve had it all.

“It doesn’t bring a nice side out in me. Loyalty, it means so much to me.”

She asks him if he has been attracted to any other girls on the show, if he wishes she was sexier, if he feels he settled too quickly and if he coupled up with her because he knew who her father was.

She also asks if he is in love with her and if he could be tempted by other girls outside of the villa.

His answers cause tension between the couple and when Dani expresses her concerns, Jack tells her: “It’s just annoying me that you’re now talking about all the negative ones.”

Dani replies: “Any girl in the world, if they’ve got that question and their boyfriend got it wrong, they would be upset.”

The test also reveals the insecurities former stripper Megan Barton Hanson has about her relationship with Wes Nelson.

Speaking before he does the test, she says: “It could go one of two ways. It could really knock my confidence more and I’m trying to be positive and trying to trust someone finally after I’ve been hurt in the past.

“Or it’s just going to prove me right and be like, ‘See, all men are the same.”

Megan adds: “It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to get him hooked up to a lie detector, I’m not messing around.”

She asks if he thinks he will struggle to stay faithful to her with all the attention he will get outside, if he thinks she is wife material and if he is embarrassed to take her home to his parents.

Megan admits she is concerned that the design engineer’s parents might not approve of her past life.

She says: “It’s like, ‘Are you embarrassed of my past?’ and, ‘Do you want me to meet your parents?’ all in one.

“If I was someone’s mum, I would want them to bring back sensible Sally that’s never got her tits out for a living.”

The test will also see Laura Anderson grill Paul Knops about whether she is a better kisser than Britney Spears, after learning the carpenter once appeared in a music video with the pop star.

And the burgeoning romance between Alex George and Alexandra Cane, which appeared to blossom after a night in the hideaway, could hit the rocks under the strain of the lie detector.

Alexandra breaks down in tears, saying: “I think you just always want the person you like to like you back in the same way. I just know that I really like Alex.”

Update: Looks like Danny Dyer isn't heading into the Love Island villa, after all. Yep, what a let-down.

Although Danny was seen flying off somewhere at an airport at the weekend, it appears that somewhere was the USA.

In an Instagram shot shared by fansite loveislandreactions on Monday (July 23), a fan met Danny at Disney's Hollywood Studios in Orlando, Florida, saying he'd just seen the EastEnders actor on the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster.

Our only hope is that Danny's making a quick connection in Orlando on the way to Majorca... We said it was a hope.

Original: It's the moment you've all been waiting for. No, not chocolate biscuits in the discount aisle, but actual Danny Dyer is reportedly heading into the Love Island villa to see Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham.

Well, this is exciting...

So you know how we've all been moaning about how ITV2 hasn't made the Islanders do any of the fun challenges this year yet? Well all that could be about to change, after the teaser for tonight's show puts the contestants through their paces with the lie detector test.

But that's not all, because actual Danny Dyer has been photographed in a queue at the airport, with a fan sharing the photo along with the caption: "Danny Dyer was right behind us."

Is he on the way to Mallorca to head into the villa? Imagine...

And fans are as overexcited as we are, with one writing: "Danny Dyer being seen at an airport is the most exciting thing ever! I CANNOT WAIT," with another adding: "ALL IM SAYING IS DANNY DYER HAS BEEN SPOTTED AT THE AIRPORT, LOVE ISLAND HERE HE COMESSS!!!"

This comes as Dani's mum Joanne previously revealed on This Morning on July 5 that Danny would love to go into the villa for Meet The Parents day, telling Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield: "Yeah, he'd want a cameo on that show. Yeah, he would love that."

Love Island contestant Jack Fincham has called his partner Dani Dyer “pathetic” during an argument they had after he was found to have lied about aspects of their relationship during a lie detector test on the show.

The pair have long been bookmakers’ favourites to win the fourth series of the ITV2 reality show and many of their fellow contestants have said they are the strongest couple in the villa.

During the test, Jack was asked by Dani if he had coupled up with her because he knew her dad was EastEnders actor Danny Dyer. Jack replied he had not, but the test found he was lying.

Jack was later asked if he thought he could be tempted by other girls outside of the villa, which he denied.

Dani said his answer to this particular question was the most important for her to know. Jack said his head would not be turned, but the lie detector found he was lying.

Jack was found to be telling the truth when he said he was in love with Dani, he wanted to be with her forever, he had not fancied any other girl on the show and he wanted to start a family with her.

Following the lie detector test, Dani confronted Jack over some of the results of his answers relating to loyalty.

The pair argued, with Jack accusing Dani of focusing only on the negative outcomes of his results.

Monday’s episode ended with Dani walking away from the conversation with Jack calling her actions “pathetic”.

Love Island continues on ITV2.
