If you had to choose a Taylor Swift song to illustrate her relationship with Apple Music, it would be “Out of the Woods.” Last June she was dragging the service on Tumblr for its compensation policies, but it relented and now she’s doing ads for Apple Music.


In a new spot for the music streaming service, Taylor Swift freestyles along to Drake and Future’s “Jumpman” while running on a treadmill. That is, until face meets pavement (conveyor belt?) in a slapstick twist.

The vast majority of music’s biggest stars — Rihanna, Madonna, Beyoncé, Kanye West, Usher, Nicki Minaj, Daft Punk — have thrown their support behind Jay Z’s Tidal. Swift, however, is backing Apple Music, which agreed to pay artists for music streamed during a user’s three-month free trial after Swift called the service on it. Drake, too, has been supportive of Apple Music, even appearing alongside Apple CEO Tim Cook at the annual Worldwide Developers Conference, where Apple Music was announced.

As for the ad in question, following her big fall, Swift looks up to drop a couple of more bars from the floor. Fortunately, no pop stars were harmed in the making of this ad.

If there’s one thing we love about Fashion Week, it’s that designers see it as an opportunity to send some of their most daring and bold designs out onto the runway for the world to see.

And that’s exactly what designer Ashish Gupta did, when two of his models sashayed their way down the catwalk in London on Sunday, wearing dramatic one-shoulder tops which exposed half of their torsos.

The top in question comes in both white and silver, with both models matching the risqué piece with a patterned skirts.

Both also showed off the gender-neutral ensembles with a pair of crisp white loafers and walked with their hands placed firmly in their pockets.

Ashish is known for his glittering designs and his love of all things sequins, which he also showcased at his London Fashion Week show.

One model walked down the runway wearing a sheer, silver sequinned top, matched with a striking pair of orange sequin bikini bottoms.

While another model stunned in an intricate purple dress, which was covered with silver sequins.

His work has captured the imaginations of numerous celebrities across the globe, with the likes of Taylor Swift, Beyonce, Madonna and Miley Cyrus donning his designs in the past.

While Ashish’s designs may be striking, they’re certainly not as racy as Revival Swimwear’s New York Fashion Week show last week.

Models were seen walking in the brand’s extremely high-cut ‘Cindy’ bikini bottoms, that sat nice and high on the waist, but left very little to the imagination on the sides.

Another daring look was the Helena one-piece, which again almost looked like a wedgie waiting to happen.

Rihanna was feeling damn good last night, and so it would seem, was her booty.

The 'S&M' singer was snapped squeezing her derriere during her performance at the Staples Center in LA last night, as part of her 'Loud Tour,' which kicked off at the beginning of the month.

The 23 year-old is known for her risqué outfits, suggestive dance moves and raunchy poses, but this shot begs the question- what next?

While many artists such as Beyonce, Lady Gaga and Britney Spears have been known to wear only the bare essentials onstage, not since Madonna have we seen such provocative dance moves.

Rihanna was snapped thrusting her crouch forward and bending over for the camera during her performance, with one cameraman taking full advantage of the 'show.'

With songs such as 'Rude Boy,' 'S&M,' and 'Good Girl Gone Bad,' we are hardly shocked at this recent performance, but having established her career on such a raunchy image, we wonder how much further it can evolve.

Perhaps Ri Ri will become too X-Rated for the mainstream, perhaps she will have an image overhaul, or perhaps she will continue to be just a very hands on artist.

Madonna and Guy Ritchie’s custody battle over fifteen-year-old Rocco Ritchie has been dominating the headlines since Christmas, and it’s easy to forget the impact the court case will have on those outside of the three directly involved.

Earlier this month it was revealed that a judge had ruled for Rocco to stay living with his dad in London - a move that has left Rocco’s eleven-year-old brother David heartbroken.

David is understandably missing his big brother desperately now that he is across the pond, and it has been said that he used to look up to the teen.


A source explained to The Mirror: “Everybody is talking about Madge and Guy’s fight over Rocco – but there’s much more to it.

"The dispute is hard on the whole family, and David is really feeling it. David very much looked up to Rocco in that big brother role.

"But they rarely see each other now, and the longer this continues the more upsetting that will become for him.”

Madonna said she would never perform at a concert “high or drunk” as she responded to backlash over her antics on her current world tour.


The pop star hit back at claims she had appeared drunk or on drugs on stage, saying the accusations showed “sexism is alive and kicking”.

She reposted a fan who had defended her on Instagram and wrote a caption alongside it, saying, “thanks for supporting me.”

During Madonna’s live set, she is dressed as a clown and plays a character who drinks a shot onstage, which prompted her to remark, “Too bad people don’t know the art of acting and playing a character.”


She continued: “I could never do any of my shows high or drunk.

“And yes, underlying all of this is sexism and misogyny which proves that not only do we not get equal pay but we are still treated like heretics if we step out of line and think outside the box!”

Madonna hit the headlines again this week after exposing the breast of a 17-year-old fan during a concert in Australia. A video of Madonna pulling down Josephine Georgiou's strapless top after inviting her up on stage in Brisbane has gone viral and made news around the globe – but the girl at the centre of the media storm has said she will not be suing the singer.


"Seriously, why would I sue Madonna for the best moment of my life?" she told the Courier-Mail. "It was the best night.

"She called me a Victoria's Secret model the whole time I was on stage, which is so flattering."

Josephine said she had been wearing her mother's corset, which was too big, and she had been adjusting it on stage while Madonna was talking to the crowd.


"Only I get to decide if I'm humiliated or not. Why would people assume I am humiliated by my own breast, nipple or body?" the aspiring model added.

"It's hilarious to me how much of a big deal it is to everyone. People just need to understand I was on stage in front of Madonna, I was looking her in the eyes and most people would just melt into a pool on stage, so it was only because I was standing in front of her that I looked so surprised."

“The approach I wanted to have as a host and judge to the girls is what my career stands for at this moment in time, which is being a businesswoman and being able to do multiple things at the same time, whether it’s music or shooting (magazine covers) and being in movies and designing clothes,” says Rita.

Madonna has a bit of a rep for being a bit of a diva, which is probably why we aren’t too surprised by Rita Ora’s anecdote about the first time she met the notorious Queen of music.

And, to be honest, that really is saying something.

The 25-year-old singer recalls the meeting in a new interview, revealing that she was at a charity concert in London back in 2013 and things got pretty strange very quickly - with Rita ending up on her knees.


According to the former X Factor judge, Madonna asked if they could kneel down whilst they were chatting in order for Rita to see the star at her best angle and in the best lighting.

Rita explained: “I was waiting in the room and Madonna walks in with the lighting - how major is that?

"We say hello and then she’s like, ‘This isn’t working, can we just kneel down on the floor?’ So I knelt down and we had the whole conversation because the lighting was better.”

2016 has not been a good year for Madonna, who lost full custody of her fifteen-year-old son Rocco to his dad, Guy Ritchie, after they fell out on her Rebel Heart tour.

And now it has been reported that Madge’s daughter, nineteen-year-old Lourdes, is so fed up with the fighting she has stepped in to help heal the rift.

Lourdes, whose father is Carlos Leon, is said to be worried about the worsening relationship between Madonna and Rocco and has made herself their point of contact until their relationship is healed.

A source explained to The Sun: “Lourdes is very concerned about her mother. Madonna has no official access or way of knowing what’s going on in Rocco’s life.


"She also can’t get direct contact with Guy. He wants to conduct all their business through lawyers. Madonna is so proud of Lourdes, she believes she is proof of what a brilliant mum she was because she is now at university.”

The singer is said to be resigning to the fact that her son will live with her ex-partner permanently but is said to be insisting on imposing a number of rules regarding structure and security if this does happen.

Madonna has recently been making a habit out of arriving (not so) casually late to her performances. 

Last week, ticket holders at her gig in New Zealand had to wait an additional one-and-a-half hours past the estimated start time.

Now, the Queen of Pop has set a new record – According to fans tweeting from Melbourne’s Forum Theatre last night, concertgoers were only allowed to enter the theatre shortly before midnight – nearly FOUR hours later than scheduled.

The 57-year-old, who is locked in a bitter battle with ex-hubby Guy Ritchie over their 15-year-old son, arrived on the stage riding a child’s tricycle and dressed as a colourful clown. 

The gig, titled ‘Tears of a Clown’, had been an unscheduled stop during her Rebel Heart Tour. The performer reportedly gave the tickets away for free and promised a night of comedy, story telling and music.

So, while her outfit was in keeping with the theme of the show, she did worringly tell the crowd that she was dressed as a clown because “to me they symbolise heartbreak.”


She continued: “There is something tragic about clowns because they try so hard to make you laugh and smile.

“They are obviously covering up something, there is something going on inside. What do you think is going on inside of me?”

A first in Madonna performance history occurred when she allegedly told the bemused audience: “One thing I’m going to do here tonight that I’ve never done before when singing is drink.”

She had been sipping on drinks during the show but later exclaimed: “I’m not supposed to be asking for alcohol right now but, Jesus Christ, get me some drink.”

Whether it was all part of the bizarre act remains to be seen but it certainly seemed to concern the fans in attendance.

Madonna is in need of a prayer. 

The “Like a Prayer” singer shared a cryptic post on Instagram Wednesday amid her custody battle of son Rocco with ex-husband Guy Ritchie. 

“Same …teach me how to pray,” Madonna, 57, captioned the post, referencing her song “Devil Pray” from her latest album Rebel Heart. 

The same day, the mother of four learned that her 15-year-old child would remain in London with Ritchie, 47, for the time being, where he is enrolled in school. 

At a hearing in New York on Wednesday, the exes called into to listen on speaker phone as a judge and their attorneys came to a long-awaited compromise, though they have yet to come to an agreement regarding Rocco’s custody. 

Rocco has been living with his father in London since December, the same month that the teen was ordered to return to his mother in New York at a court hearing. 

Rocco has previously expressed his desire to stay abroad with Ritchie. In January, a source told PEOPLE that Rocco had been on tour with Madonna when he decided he wanted to stay with his father out of rebellion, and because he prefers Ritchie’s laid-back parenting style and misses his U.K.-based friends.

Madonna caused uproar last week when she used the Philippine flag in an ‘inappropriate’ manner – by wearing it.

She could now face a ban from the country after she was slammed by one of its top officials.

Reuters reports chief of the Heraldry Section of the National Historical Commission of the Philippines, Teodoro Atienza, told radio station dzBB the flag had been “ridiculed” by the singer. 

Atienza declared Madonna had violated a law that prohibits the wearing of the Philippine flag “in whole, or in part, as a costume or uniform”.

And Reuters reported the singer and concert producers could be held liable for the violation even if they were unaware of the law.

The Philippine’s Roman Catholic leader Archbishop Ramon Arguelles also called for Filipinos to boycott Madonna’s shows over her suggestive performances and outfits.

The tour features a segment called Holy Water that includes dancers dressed as scantily-clad nuns performing on cross-shaped stripper poles.
