Not so fast. Cara Delevingne took to Twitter on Thursday to set the record straight about her career. After posting a series of professional shots from her new Saint Laurent campaign, the 23-year-old model and actress took to Twitter to clarify some quotes she made last year that implied she was quitting the modeling industry.


"Can we just set the record straight," she began. "I never said I was quitting modeling. I do not blame the fashion industry for anything. I suffer from depression and was a model during a particularly rough patch of self."

She went on to show her appreciation for her glamorous lifestyle, saying, "I am so lucky for the work I get to do but I used to work to try and escape and just ended up completely exhausting myself. I am focusing on filming and trying to learn how to not pick apart my every flaw. I am really good at that. Okay… Rant over. Just wanted to clarify and word vomit a little ."

Back in August, the Suicide Squad star got candid about her complex past with modeling.


"It is a mental thing as well because if you hate yourself and your body and the way you look, it just gets worse and worse," Delevingne told The Times. "Modeling just made me feel a bit hollow after a while. It didn't make me grow at all as a human being. And I kind of forgot how young I was. I felt so old."

As you might now, these are issues close to Delevingne’s heart in light of the killing of Cecil the Lion last summer. Following the tragedy, the supermodel even auctioned off her TAG Heur watch to raise money for wildcru.org.

As far as her how her involvement with I’m Not a Trophy campaign came about, it was all thanks to one of her supermodel pals who introduced her to the campaign’s photographer Arno Elias.


“I was introduced to Arno’s work after falling in love with the images he did for my friend and fellow model, Suki Waterhouse,” she tells MarieClaire.com. “Suki put us in touch and before we knew it we were in Paris shooting together.”

In the portraits shot by Arno, Delevingne is in the buff, covered in colorful, super imposed endangered species. But her contributions won’t just be aesthetic.

“I plan on being very hands-on with the organization and will do whatever I can to help create awareness for the tragic poaching and trophy hunting that is occurring in Africa,” she explained. “I’m extremely proud to act as inaugural ambassador for the first-ever, international I’m Not a Trophy campaign, a cause that not only benefits endangered species, but empowers women as well.”

Selena Gomez has reportedly revealed that her friend Kendall Jenner is not single. Jenner, who was linked with One Direction heart-throb Harry Styles in January, was recently spotted with rapper Chris Brown leaving a Paris hotel.


When asked if she would expand her friendship circle, the Come and Get It singer told Roman Kemp on UK radio station Capital FM: "Maybe not for the squad necessarily but boyfriend material is always good... none of them are single just so you know. Taylor is not single, Gigi is not single, neither is Kendall. I am the only single one!" Gigi Hadid, Taylor Swift and Cara Delevingne are the 23-year-old's close friends.

With rumours afloat that the model and the rapper are dating, the 20-year-old reality star's friend Hadid apparently wants to go on a double date with them. According to HollywoodLife, Hadid has persuaded boyfriend Zayn Malik, 23, to help make the relationship between Jenner and Brown happen. "Gigi has been talking to Zayn about [Chris and Kendall being] a potential couple. She wants them all to go out on a double date," a source said. "[Gigi] loves the idea of her best friend dating Zayn's really close friend."

Harry Styles’ prospective acting career has been the talk of the town ever since One Direction announced an eighteen-month hiatus, with sources claiming that the 22-year-old was eager to use his time off to make a name for himself in Hollywood.


And it looks like the day is nigh.

According to a “close friend”, the star has nabbed himself a role in an upcoming World War II musical and will star alongside the likes of Susan Boyle and Cara Delevingne, with it being claimed that the film will be made by Universal Pictures.


The Daily Star have said that the film will be an “all-singing romantic comedy” with filming getting underway later this year ready for a 2017 release date.

Well. At least we know that Harry has the vocals nailed, eh?


The Daily Star also claim that Harry has a whole load of other acting projects lined up, including a Christopher Nolan film, which will also star Tom Hardy and Sir. Kenneth Branagh.

The insider dished: “He is very ambitious to balance a solo singing career and a Hollywood acting career.”

Whether any of this turns out to be, well, true, is to be decided but in the meantime we are pretty excited about seeing Harry’s beautiful face on the massive cinema screens.

New portraits of model Cara Delevingne by British artist Jonathan Yeo have been unveiled ahead of the largest retrospective of his work.

Now, Selena has been spilling some gossip from the famous squad, making it the closest we’ll ever get to being in their group.

Asked if they’re holding auditions for a new squad member by Capital FM’s Ronan Kemp, the ‘Hands To Myself’ singer said: “Maybe not for the squad necessarily but boyfriend material is always good.”

Interestingly, insiders have crawled out of the woodwork to deny Selena’s claims that Kendall is single, with one telling E! News: “Kendall is single. She is not dating Harry anymore, but they are still friends and if they are in the same city they likely would [hang out]. Nothing bad happened between them, just busy schedules.”

The 20-year-old supermodel stars in a new steamy photoshoot for Love magazine -- modeling all Calvin Klein -- and it's definitely her raciest one yet. Touching her flawless physique seductively with an ice cube while in a black bikini, Kendall then sucks the ice cube into her mouth.

This is hardly the first time Kendall has stripped down for Love -- it's safe to say the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star is pretty much a fixture on the British publication at this point. In July 2014, a then 18-year-old Kendall posed topless for the mag, and in December 2014, she straddled her close pal, Cara Delevingne, for their much talked-about joint cover. Last December, she donned lingerie for a Twilight-inspired photoshoot.

... And who can forget last November, when she posed as a sexy shark?

Just last month, she posed topless in a bathtub for the magazine's spring/summer 2016 LOVE Club issue, and revealed her "naughty" side.

Kendall recently let Vogue cameras into a typical day for her during New York Fashion Week, in which she chowed down on pancakes and McDonald's, and found time to stuff her bra with her BFF, model Gigi Hadid!

Cara Delevingne brought a real dog as her date to Chanel’s Haute Couture show. No, not in the “He’s such a dog” way as in that dude’s a player or her “dawg” like Snoop or Nate (although that would be cool). Delevingne instead brought a living, breathing canine as her front row companion, delighting many animal fans — but angering one security guard in the process.

The dog is named Leo and he’s 4-months-old. Delevingne, who has 25.9 million followers on Instagram, is just like any other puppy parent and shares photos of him, calling him “baby boy.”
