Adele has had to apologise after a fan was injured at one of her concerts.

The singer was performing in Glasgow last night, when a chain fell from the ceiling of the SSE Hydro arena, striking a member of the audience.

Ouch!

Part of the singer’s set, Adele took to Twitter to apologise for the incident and vowed that similar calamities wouldn’t happen again.

She tweeted: “I’m so sorry to hear that someone got hurt at my show tonight. It’s being investigated to ensure it won’t happen again. X”

The Grammy-winner was seemingly unaware of the incident when it happened, and didn’t appear to notice either the man being struck or the paramedics that were rushed into the arena.

To be fair, it’s a pretty massive arena so we can’t say we blame her.

Just when you thought you couldn't love Adele any more, the superstar decided to show off her twerking skills at a recent London concert, while laughing at herself, of course. Like all of us, she doesn't really know what she's doing.

"I think I just twerked," she exclaimed, surprised. "I can't do it that well. My whole body has to move." My bum could break my back, it's so enormous," she added, mid-giggle. Never change, Adele.

One of the things that we love the most about Adele is that she says it how it is and isn’t afraid to tell her millions of fans across the globe the hard, gritty truth about life.

And that extends to pregnancy.

It has been reported that during her show at Glasgow’s SSE Hydro Arena last Friday the superstar admitted to growing a beard when pregnant with her three-year-old son Angelo, and she’s totally proud of it.

Well, it did result in her having a baby after all.

Speaking to the crowd, Adele reportedly quipped: “When I got pregnant I had so much testosterone in me that I grew a beard.

"I only cropped it last night. It’s actually true. I’m not telling a joke. I actually have a beard, but I’m proud of it.

"I call it Larry.”

Needless to say, we completely love the choice in name.

Growing the facial fuzz has had some benefits though, with the 27-year-old adding that she can now relate to her partner Simon Konecki, continuing: “My man’s got a good beard. He trims it sometimes in the summer.

Yesterday morning we were all left shocked and saddened when 31 people lost their lives, and many others were injured, in terrorist attacks across Brussels, Belgium.

Last night, Adele was sure to pay tribute to the victims of the senseless bombings during her London show.

Marking her sixth consecutive night playing to thousands of fans at London’s O2 arena, an emotional Adele dedicated one of her biggest hits to the victims as she told the huge crowd: “This is ‘Make You Feel My Love’ and this is for Brussels tonight.

"I want you all to sing it with me.”

Adele recorded her own rendition of Bob Dylan’s hit back in 2008 for her debut album '19’ and after last night’s performance she thanked the crowd for joining in, telling them: “I don’t think I’ve ever actually been so moved before in my life at one of my shows, that was just so beautiful.

"Thank you very much for doing that… I think they heard us.”

Adele's half-brother has revealed his relationship with the singer is "hard", because her superstar lifestyle means she's too busy to speak to him.

Cameron O'Sullivan and sister Adele have the same father, Mark Evans. But while the Grammy-winning singer wows crowds across the globe, 20-year-old sports medicine student Cameron has quite a different existence in a small terraced house in Llantwit, South Wales, which he shares with his mother.

In a new interview, Adele's rugby-loving younger brother has spoken out for the first time about his upset at not getting the chance to see his sibling enough, due to her busy performance schedule.

Speaking to Britain's The Sun newspaper on Monday (21Feb16), Cameron said: "It’s hard because we never see each other. We’re not close at all and that’s the most difficult thing.

“I’m really close with her mum Penny (Adkins), but that’s it. I keep in contact with Penny on the phone. But I hardly speak to Adele. There’s nothing there. She’s so busy we’re not really close. I’ve not spoken to her for a while.”

There were a couple of ‘controversial’ moments during this year’s BRIT Awards - Those being the bleeping fail during one of Adele’s acceptance speech and nearly-naked Sadie Pinn making an unplanned appearance during one of Ant & Dec’s live links.

The team tried to bleep out swearing during Adele’s speech, but accidentally missed the offending word and bleeped other words instead.

Sadie, meanwhile, spoke to The Sun after her unexpected cameo, explaining: “I only decided to do it five minutes before, but I know them and I asked Pam. I thought, ‘As long as she says it’s okay, I’ll do it’.”

According to Ofcom, 60 complaints were made about ‘nudity’, while ten people complained about ‘offensive language’.

However, despite the complaints, Ofcom have now announced in a new report that they won’t be pursuing these further.

Geordie duo Ant & Dec are also under scrunity from Ofcom for another show - Saturday Night Takeaway.

It’s official - We absolutely ADORE Adele.

Okay, so we were more than a little aware of this already, but we think we love her even more after she jokingly twerked on stage during her gig at London’s O2 Arena.

Yep, Adele is continuing to put on an amazing tour for her fans, and after secretly signing programmes, upgrading people’s seats, getting a couple up on stage after they got engaged and much more, she’s now incorporated some dance moves into her show.

Joking with the crowd as she did her best twerk, Adele said: “I think I just twerked… I can’t do it that well. My whole body has to move.”

She added: “My bum could break my back, it’s so enormous!”

With the crowd cheering her on (obviously), the ‘Hello’ singer continued to dance on the stage as sung Lionel Richie’s ‘All Night Long’.

Amazing.

Adele has been impressing fans with both her incredible vocals and her witty humour during her tour, and even used the stage as an opportunity to announce her Glastonbury headline slot.

According to NME, she told the audience: “I wanted to do it last year but my record wasn’t ready. And to the people who say I am too boring to headline, you’re more f**king boring for moaning about me headlining.”

We can’t wait!

His Christian faith teaches him those who sit at the right hand of the Lord are blessed.

And Dan Walker, 48, has been accused of sexism by choosing to sit in the ‘camera left’ position for his new role as BBC Breakfast host.

The devout churchgoer, below, took the same spot as his predecessor Bill Turnbull, who left the show after 15 years.

It is traditionally viewed in the TV industry as a position of seniority.

Walker’s co-host Louise Minchin, 47, has been on the BBC Breakfast sofa for more than 10 years, worked on The One Show and presented on the BBC News Channel – yet she is in the traditionally ‘inferior’ position.

Disgruntled viewers have now spoken of their anger at what they believe is a macho snub to Minchin.

In a letter to the Radio Times, Adele Clarke from Cheshire wrote: ‘I was annoyed to see “new boy” Dan Walker seated on the left, in Bill Turnbull’s own place, while far more experienced news presenter Louise Minchin remained in the “number two” position on the right.

Adele has proved her big heart by offering to refund fans who fell victim to ticket touts. In December 2015, thousands were conned into believing they were buying legitimate tickets for the Hello singer's world tour only to find they were faked by touts charging as much as £25,000 ($35,800) for entry to the coveted live shows.

During the latest stop in her six-night stint at London's O2 Arena, Adele, 27, apologised to fans for the scam and promised to personally rectify the financial damage caused by the touts. The singer told the sold-out audience: "You've got all those terrible people selling tickets for £25,000 a pair. I hope no one paid that much. If you did I'll pay you back."

After tickets for Adele Live 2016 went on sale, fans were urged not to purchase them from secondary websites after prices rapidly soared. At the time, Adele's team announced they were taking measures to crack down on ticket touts trying to fleece fans with her manager Jonathan Dickins telling Music Business Worldwide: "This is a show for fans who've waited years for Adele to perform. We were carefully monitoring all of the registrations to try and spot anything suspicious."

It was a big night for Adele as she took her world tour London for her first show at the O2 arena.

But it was arguably an even bigger night for this couple.

Yep, he popped the question during the singer’s hit Make You Feel My Love. As Adele wonderfully points out, not too sure how she even heard him pop the question over the music. But luckily she did, and all went to plan.

Not many people can say they got a hug from Adele after getting engaged can they?

Meanwhile, the night wasn’t all about shock engagements. Adele’s singing was also, you know, pretty good.

‘Week two – same weight, totes diff’, ‘Who worked out this morning?’ and ‘My app is sick’.

Some of the pearls of wisdom on Chloe Madeley’s blow-by-blow Instagrammed account of her exercise regime.

The 28-year-old daughter of Richard Madeley and Judy Finningan’s latest post announced she had dropped to her target weight of almost nine stone with the message ‘Yaay.’

To celebrate the milestone she posted semi-naked selfies showing her in a pink-and-black sports bra and small pants.

The personal trainer, who has her own training app, added: ‘There’s no denying that I feel MUCH tighter, harder, and my clothes are all that little bit more comfortable with added wriggle room.

‘My new goal #weight for next week is 126lbs.’

We’re unashamedly pretty much obsessed with James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke segment on his Late Late Show, with the host getting everyone from Mariah Carey to Stevie Wonder to help him get to work with their own music.

The segment has now become so popular, in fact, that reports are claiming it could follow in Jimmy Fallon’s Lip Sync Battle footsteps and become a TV series in its own right.

Yes. Please.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, James and executive producer (and good pal) Ben Winston are ‘out shopping’ the segment as an original series.

Sadly, it’s believed that James won’t host the series if it happens, though he’ll be an executive producer and would most probably make guest appearances.

We’re not entirely convinced Carpool Karaoke will be the same without the one and only James, but we’re willing to give it a go.

A host for the show would be decided after it gets picked up (if it does, which is definitely should). WATCH THIS SPACE.

The segment has become a viral sensation, with Adele’s turn in the passenger seat being the most-watched late-night YouTube clip ever.

Adele's highly-anticipated performance of "All I Ask" at the Grammy Awards Monday -- her first at the awards show in four years -- was plagued with sound issues.

The British singer is now sharing how she felt after the disappointing appearance.

"I cried pretty much all day yesterday," Adele said Thursday on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."

"In fairness, I would have cried if it went really well as well," she continued. "If it would've been a stand-out performance I would have cried as well. I always cry."

In a moment unseen to viewers, Adele, 27, said microphones fell onto the piano onstage. "Some people thought it was [Justin] Bieber rehearsing, but it wasn't him. We're on great terms," she noted on Thursday.a

Adele made one young fan's dream come true by visiting her in her home.

Adele, who is currently on her "25" world tour, visited 12-year-old Rebecca Gibney in her home in Belfast, Ireland on Tuesday night.

According to her mother Tracy Gibney, Rebecca suffers from cerebral palsy and epilepsy, can't walk or talk, and is tube fed. She also has recently became bedbound. But despite her health issues, Rebecca finds joy in Adele's music and is a huge fan of the "When We Were Young" singer.

Tracy started a petition on Change.org after she found out Adele would be performing in Belfast to try and see if she could get the 27-year-old singer to send Rebecca a video message after her concert.

"[Rebecca] listens to Adele from she gets up in the morning until her bedtime," Gibney wrote. "All I am asking for is for Adele to FaceTime we Rebecca or send her a video message, it would be her dream come true, please please help for my beautiful sick little daughter."

In case you didn’t know, Adele kicked off her shiny new tour in Belfast last night - on the 29th February, also known as Leap Day.

Another fun fact is that every Leap Year women are encouraged to break tradition and propose to their boys on the 29th, with it previously being reported that up to one third of unmarried girls were planning on popping the question this year.

But no woman proposed in a better way than a lucky Adele fan, Hayley, who was invited up on stage with the singing legend to get down on bended knee again after he’d responded with “maybe” earlier in the day.

Awks.

Encouraging the crowd to chant “Come on Neil”, Adele’s ploy worked and Neil agreed to marry his girlfriend with Adele even inviting herself along to their big day - something which we’re sure the couple will not object to.

“I’ve been sh*tting myself - I had severe bowel movements. But I’ve had an Imodium.”

She certainly has a way with words, doesn’t she?

Thankfully the night went without a hitch, and the set list for her much-anticipated tour is as follows:

‘Hello’

'Hometown Glory’

'One and Only’

'Rumour Has It’

'Water Under The Bridge’

'I Miss You’

'Skyfall’

'A Million Years Ago’

'To Make You Feel My Love’

'Sweetest Devotion’

'Someone Like You’

Rihanna is closing in on the number one spot on the singles chart with her latest release Work, according to the Official Chart Update.

Danish band Lukas Graham are leading the preview of the Official Singles and Albums Charts, with international smash 7 Years.

But Rihanna’s Work is just 8,000 combined sales behind as of Monday, said the Official Charts Company. The Bajan singer has received a boost in sales following her sizzling performance of the track with Canadian rapper Drake.

The duo were a Brits highlight last Wednesday with Work, which is taken from Rihanna’s eighth studio album, entitled Anti.

They previously collaborated on 2010 chart-topping hit What’s My Name.

The Brits saw Adele triumph with four trophies in total. The London-born singer closed the ceremony with a performance of When We Were Young, and the song is continuing its ascent up the Top 40. It has climbed five places to number eight.

Shimmering frocks are what fans are used to see Adele wearing when she blasts out her hits.

It wasn’t always that way.

The powerhouse performed her final gig at The Brit school wearing slippers, a cardigan and sipping a cuppa, the creative academy’s ex-assistant principal has recalled.

She also used to be far more lighthearted and filled the institution’s corridors with her belly laughs, former head Stuart Worden fondly remembered.

Stuart – assistant principal when Adele was at The Brit School aged 14 – said: “The first memory of Adele that sticks out for me is from a history lesson.

It’s five months since she was divorced and Lara Stone has made it clear she’s back in the saddle.

The model was seen in a very public display of affection with her fellow model boyfriend Andrew Gray at the Brit Awards on Wednesday night.

The 32-year-old, married to comic David Walliams, 44, for five years, kissed 29-year-old model/actor Andrew at their table, while Adele performed emotional ballad When We Were Young.

A source told The Sun: “They were all over each other and Lara made no attempt to keep her feelings for Andrew a secret.

“She couldn’t keep her hands off of him and kept ruffling his hair, stroking his chin and pulling him close to passionately kiss.

“At one point she had her hand on his upper thigh as they seductively gazed into each other’s eyes.”

But it was Adele’s acceptance speech that will likely have fans talking. At the end of her thank you remarks, the “Hello” singer announced, “I’d also like to take this moment to publicly support Kesha."

Adele, it should be noted, is a Columbia artist, which is under Sony – the same corporation Kesha is suing to be released from her contract.

Just an hour ago, Kesha posted a public statement on her Facebook page, writing, "Other entertainers who knowingly put their own careers at stake by supporting me, I will be forever grateful.”
