If you had to choose a Taylor Swift song to illustrate her relationship with Apple Music, it would be “Out of the Woods.” Last June she was dragging the service on Tumblr for its compensation policies, but it relented and now she’s doing ads for Apple Music.

In a new spot for the music streaming service, Taylor Swift freestyles along to Drake and Future’s “Jumpman” while running on a treadmill. That is, until face meets pavement (conveyor belt?) in a slapstick twist.

“Based on true events,” Swift wrote, sharing the ad.

The vast majority of music’s biggest stars — Rihanna, Madonna, Beyoncé, Kanye West, Usher, Nicki Minaj, Daft Punk — have thrown their support behind Jay Z’s Tidal. Swift, however, is backing Apple Music, which agreed to pay artists for music streamed during a user’s three-month free trial after Swift called the service on it. Drake, too, has been supportive of Apple Music, even appearing alongside Apple CEO Tim Cook at the annual Worldwide Developers Conference, where Apple Music was announced.

As for the ad in question, following her big fall, Swift looks up to drop a couple of more bars from the floor. Fortunately, no pop stars were harmed in the making of this ad.

The Anaconda rapper's dress was far from practical -- not only going commando, Nicki had to also watch she didn't step on her dress as well (a very tricky manoeuvre).

Ever since the late 19th century, nipple pasties have been associated with all things erotic.

The adhesive covers used to protect a woman’s modesty first originated from a fascination with the oriental. Exotic belly dancers began sporting metal discs on their breasts in the late 1800s with circuses soon taking on the sensual displays.

As the striptease became more mainstream, new nudity laws were enforced to encourage both genders to attend the major burlesque shows. This meant that dancers were required to wear nipple pasties to avoid an arrest.

Until the 1950s, pasties were used to fight censorship with more and more designs – some with those well-known tassels – popping up. In certain states, dancers hit back at seriously strict laws by attaching a piece of string to their pasties, transforming the nearly-nude look into a bikini.

Then a sudden decline in the burlesque industry took place. People became less interested until the 1990s revival of the shows featuring stars such as Dita Von Teese and her infamous champagne glass routine.

At the 1999 VMAs, Lil Kim took the nipple pasty to the red carpet wearing *that* one-shouldered lilac jumpsuit. (Miley Cyrus later recreated the look for Halloween).

Along with wearing nude-coloured ones under sheer dresses, celebrities have bravely donned pasties at premieres and awards shows ever since.

Recently, Nicki Minaj went for a truly revealing look on the front row of Haider Ackermann’s Paris show. Anthony Vaccarello also kickstarted a glitter nipple trend thanks to his heart-shaped pasties at Saint Laurent’s SS17 show.

For us less showy folk, the nipple pasty has transformed into a lingerie staple available at pretty much any retailer, having appeared in decades’ worth of fetish photography.

From lowbrow to highbrow, here’s just a few famous pasties that have made their public debut.

When preeminent feminist philosopher Beyoncé said girls "run the world" in 2011, the world listened. Yet it seems some countries were listening more carefully to her words than others.

In honor of International Women's Day, Spotify shared lists of its most streamed female artists in the United States and abroad. Considering the fact that the American entertainment industry is still the largest in the world, the lists are very similar. However, there are are some surprising differences. The position of one name in particular stands out: Nicki Minaj.

Check where she appears on the list of top female artists in the US.

1. Beyoncé
2. Nicki Minaj
3. Ariana Grande
4. Rihanna
5. Lana Del Rey
6. Katy Perry
7. Ellie Goulding
8. Adele
9. Selena Gomez
10. Lorde
And look where she appears on the international list:

1. Rihanna
2. Ariana Grande
3. Beyoncé
4. Ellie Goulding
5. Katy Perry
6. Lana Del Rey
7. Sia
8. Adele
9. Selena Gomez
10. Meghan Trainor

Nowhere.

It's hard to guess what's caused this massive gap in interest. Hip-hop is a global movement, but the scenes are still young in many countries. Minaj's fierce raps toward reclaiming female sexuality aren't nearly as accessible as that of the Ariana Grandes, Ellie Gouldings and Selena Gomezes of the world.

In what is most likely a response to the case of Kim Kardashian v. Chloë Grace Moretz, though could honestly be applied to any number of online feuds involving celebrities, Miley Cyrus is calling for everyone to “put the c**tiness aside.”

In an Instagram post bearing Kim Kardashian’s signature butt Kimoji, Cyrus implores all female celebrities to come together and support each other.

Dear women, you ALL are acting tacky AF! Why don’t we overly (myself included) fortunate women come together and try to create and bring jobs to other women in desperate need of them so they can support not only THEMSELVES but their families! #happyinternationalwomensday can we all put the c**tiness aside for one f**king day and love / celebrate one another! PS no matter how hard you (or myself) work NEVER will I feel I am worthy of the comfort I live in…. Because so many others while I tuck myself in at night are laying their head on the pavement, dreaming of all the things we take for granted every day. Much love to all my women!!!!

Cyrus is, of course, no stranger to a feud. Nicki Minaj famously ripped her apart at the MTV VMAs — “Miley, what’s good?” — after Cyrus called Minaj “not very polite” in the New York Times.

The love Cyrus is extending to “all [her] women” presumably includes Nicki Minaj.

THE KARDASHIANS

Now here are three girls not shy of showing it all off (if the pay cheque is right). Brought to you courtesy of the magic of Photoshop: Kourtney, Kim and Khloe.

JENNIFER SAUNDERS

Comedienne Jennifer Saunders, a recent breast cancer survivor, joined thousands of other women marching through the streets of London wearing their bras to raise money for a breast cancer charity. And might we say we think her brassiere is particularly dazzling.

MIRANDA KERR

Miranda Kerr is definitely one of the bright young stars of the modelling scene, and combined with her marriage to Orlando Bloom she could well be on the fast track to superstardom.

GISELE

It takes years to perfect a catwalk strut like Gisele's, and with a body like that it's no surprise she gets paid the big bucks.

KATY PERRY

In the hilarious clip for her single 'California Gurls' Katy Perry donned a bra quite unlike any other. When prompted it could fire streams of whipped cream, undoubtedly fulfilling the 'Teenage Dreams' of many a young fan.

KELLY ROWLAND

If it were physically possible you would be tempted to think that Kelly Rowland had found a way to put this bra on upside down.

NICKI MINAJ

It looks like Nicki Minaj is a repeat offender! La Minaj certainly knows what it takes to get yourself noticed in Tinseltown, and she's not afraid to play the game.

RIHANNA

No celebrity is more active on Twitter than Rihanna, and particularly when it comes to tweeting sexy pics of herself. It's no surprise then that her stage costumes like this one should be every bit as revealing, and more than a little bit cheeky.

Lady Gaga
Our eye is only drawn to her chest because of the emerald pendant, right?

Nicki Minaj

Yeap. There's a lot of under boob going on here for the Anaconda rapper.

Madonna

Can we just say ouch?

Chrissy Teigen

A sneaky bit of under boob you have to look hard to spot.

Joy Villa

She's a model and a singer you'd previously never heard of. And now you know.

Ashanti
A classy take on the under boob category.

Paris Hilton
Not quite what we were expecting in the style stakes, but Paris is taking cut-outs to a whole new level.

Kim Kardashian and Beyonce

Baby oil meets skin highlighters for a little emphasis where it counts.
