Since returning to featuring mostly naked women last fall, Maxim has put models like Alessandra Ambrosio, Elsa Hosk, and Hannah Davis in various states of undress on its covers. Joining that list is the star of the magazine's April issue, Ashley Graham, who while technically naked, looks different than the typical Maxim cover model of late.

Here's her cover:

She looks flawless. But she also looks very different from the women before her and one quick Google image search will tell you why: you can barely see her body. The rest of the photo shoot, too, features but one full-length shot, the rest being mostly portraits.

Ashley's Instagram followers have also accused the magazine of a different offense: over-Photoshopping. "Beautiful, but I don't understand why they had to Photoshop this beautiful lady! Let her be full figured and natural!" one fan wrote. Another said, "Wish they hadn't Photoshopped you so much though, you're perfect how you are and have always been so empowering for all of us to love the skin we're in and then they go and change yours, it's a shame they dampen that message to appeal to the masses more."

Though the full photo shoot is here, her interview won't be out until the magazine hits stands April 5th.

Ashley Graham may be everyone’s favourite curvaceous model, however the size 14 beauty recently revealed that even she has her ‘fat’ days. Thank goodness, she is human.

Ashley opened up bout her body insecurities, telling People magazine, “I still have mornings I wake up and feel fat or I feel my cellulite is really kicking that day.

We all know that it’s only natural to have those less confident moments, and Ashley has come up with a way to deal with those times - by imparting her own wisdom on herself and giving her curves a good old fashioned talking to.

“I have to look myself in the mirror, and I take my own advice and I talk to those different parts,” she says.

“I tell myself I am beautiful. I tell myself I am bold and brilliant.”

So, maybe we should all try that next time we need a little confidence boost? If not, we all know wearing a pair of tummy-sucking-in spanx always helps - and Ashley herself is a fan of them, which makes them good enough for us.

Admitting she wears shapewear “every day” she does also say there are days when she loves her natural her body looks under her clothes.

“I do like to see my a** jiggle every once in a while in a dress,” she says. “I think it’s really sexy,’ she adds. ‘But yes, overall, I am in shapewear probably 80 per cent of the time.”

Following Ashley Graham’s recent feature in Joe Jonas’s music video ‘Toothbrush’, we all thought she couldn’t get anymore sexy. We were wrong.

The 28-year-old model has just released her new swimwear range with swimsuitsforall and, boy, it is hawt. The size 14 beauty shared a load of sultry campaign images on her Instagram as well as a behind-the scenes video, spilling the beans on the James Bond inspired shoot.

But Ashley didn’t want to be just “one of the Bond girls”, she explains in the video. Instead, she said, “I’m James Bond, and I am going to kick some ass.”

And kick-ass she certainly did. Showing off her famous figure in numerous sizzling shots straddling a luxury boat and strutting down a dock, she definitely had a action-packed time modelling the racy 11-piece collection.

The plus size model and body activist explained to Glamour how important it is that her swimsuit collection appeals to woman of all body types. "I want women of all shapes and sizes to feel like they can buy themselves something special and luxurious,” she said. “I want it to be empowering.”

With the collection’s cut-out racy red numbers, skimpy black bikinis and Swarovski body chains, we reckon she’s definitely achieved that.

Ashley Graham is getting personal with her latest photoshoot – not only did the size 14-16 model strip down, but she enlisted some help from her husband, Justin Ervin.

The 28-year-old model is Maxim’s latest cover girl and, in one particularly risqué pic, she poses naked while Ervin holds her bare breasts. And Graham tells ET the shot was his idea!

“Yes, those are my husband’s hands supporting me,” Graham says. “He supports me in more ways than one. What’s really funny is it was my husband’s idea to do that photo. We call it the Janet Jackson.”

The two first met at church in New York and married when Graham was 22. Now, Ervin lives in Los Angeles and works as a cinematographer, while the Sports Illustrated swimsuit model still resides in NYC. So, what’s the secret to making a long-distance marriage work?

“We have a rule. We don’t go longer than two weeks without seeing each other,” she tells us. “It’s absolutely fabulous. I love it. We just meet in L.A. or New York. We meet in Paris, Miami. It’s pretty sexy.”

Clearly the couple is embracing their sexiness now, but Graham has been open about the fact that she decided to wait until marriage to have sex with Ervin, because she says she was “losing [her] power” in past relationships.

“There was already this sexual tension, this roaringness,” she now says of the confidence her husband gives her in the bedroom. “We had already established such a friendship that we had the two combine. Which, in my mind, just made magic, because now not only am I sleeping with someone that I trust and I love, but I know that he wants me. He affirms me all the time and lets me know how sexy and beautiful I am.”

“We are going to totally have kids. We are probably going to do it in the next few years,” Graham also reveals. “Just another part of my brand building.”
