During the kickoff concert for her "Piece of Me" tour, GOAT Britney Spears suffered a major wardrobe malfunction and accidentally exposed her nipple while singing her song "Do Somethin'."

During the song, Britney tried to adjust her bra top behind one of the makeshift walls onstage, and when she came back out her nipple was showing slightly. A fan captured the video and put it on YouTube, and you can clearly see the malfunction in real time.

She even finished the song without fixing it, which is either the most professional thing ever or the funniest thing ever. Maybe both!

The singer has an unfortunately long history with on-stage wardrobe malfunctions. There was that time earlier this year when she accidentally flashed her thong onstage when her bodysuit ripped.

Then there was that time in 2016 when her bra popped open during a “Piece of Me” show in Las Vegas. She covered her breasts with her hands until she could fix her top. She told Mario Lopez at the time that the piece was really tight around her neck, causing it to pop open.

“It was the second time I’ve worn it, and I was [straddled] on the [stage’s giant] guitar, and it just popped and I was like, ‘Oh, my God. It’s never done that before!’ So I just had to hold myself,” she said.

Ever since she was spotted skinny-dipping with Justin Bieber, fans have been assured Sahara Ray has no problem getting her gear off and flashing the flesh.

And the Australian model's back to her racy antics, this time freeing the nipple quite literally in a series of swimsuit snaps.

Leaving very little to the imagination, the blonde has shared the images on her Instagram account.

In one photo, Sahara stares into the camera lens, wearing a see-through green swimsuit that's dripping wet.

Another photo shows her half-way through taking her pink swimsuit off, and a little slip of her fingers reveals a bit more than we bargained for.

The 24-year-old, who is the daughter of famed surfer Tony Ray, was the centre of attention in 2016 when she and Biebs were seen going for their own cheeky dip while hanging out together in Hawaii.

Sahara stripped down to her white bikini bottoms and posed for sexy shots with multicoloured flower lei’s around her neck and head, while the Sorry hitmaker went fully nude for a swim with Sahara at the remote Blue Lagoon.

When Kim Kardashian poses nude, she does so for money, or magazines. But Chelsea Handler, on the other hand, is exposing her breasts for feminism and world peace — seriously. The comedian, who is currently visiting Israel, posed sitting on top of a camel topless with Stars of David as nipple covers. She posted the photo on Instagram with the caption, “A Muslim allowed a topless Jew to sit on his camel. And we say we can’t live side by side? I say we try and we can and we will. And, You don’t even have to be topless. L’chaim.”

Handler is in the Holy Land for a fundraiser supporting Sheba Medical Center’s Tal Center for Integrative Oncology. She also reportedly interviewed former Israeli president Shimon Peres for her upcoming documentary series on Netflix. The provocateur’s high-profile interview could indicate her turn toward becoming a more serious talk show host and documentarian. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the 91-year-old political figure spoke to the funny lady about his life achievements, tenure as president, his relationship with Israel’s first Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion, and more.

Handler is a known provocateur. In October, she sat on a horse without a shirt to mimic a similar pic of Russian President Vladimir Putin. “Anything a man can do, a woman has the right to do better. #kremlin,” she wrote alongside the post, which received hundreds of thousands of likes as well as international media attention. Shortly after Handler shared the photo, it was removed because it violated the photo-sharing app’s community guidelines that restrict “violent, nude, partially nude, discriminatory, unlawful, infringing, hateful, pornographic or sexually suggestive photos.” 

Handler’s topless posts work double duty in raising awareness to specific causes. Not only is she highlighting tensions within a war-torn part of the world, and calling out sexism, she’s also bringing attention to #freethenipple by baring her (oddly perky) breasts by baring them to her 1.5 million followers. The campaign hopes to start a conversation surrounding current censorship laws that deem women’s nipples indecent (even though men’s are considered acceptable). Let’s hope the best-selling author’s areolae continue to be a symbol for hot-button issues. Can you Handler it?

But deep in her heart of hearts, is there a deeper meaning behind why Kim goes bra free? Something beyond the fact that she has an amazing body, and wants the world to see it?

She recently revealed the truth on her website:

“I have always loved sheer—I just don’t GAF, LOL.”

Yes, ladies and gentlemen - Kim Kardashian wears less-is-more clothing because she doesn’t give a f**k.

Kim may have been referring to one of her recent outfits in particular; the super-sheer metallic number she donned to one of Kanye’s concerts in New York City. 

Or how she described it, the “Silver Surfer”.

And guess what? Kylie recently joined the braless train too, posing earlier this year to promote her new lip line.

For a while, Nicki Minaj has had a comparatively reserved sense of style compared with some of her older, flashy tactics. But following a bit of industry drama recently, the female MC took to Paris Fashion Week in a series of gag inducing looks. The latest? A breast exposing top from Mugler at Haider Ackermann.

Though the sophisticated, yet still sexy British designer David Koma is currently reigning over the Mugler brand, Minaj went for the designs of his predecessor: Nicola Formichetti. You know him: His over-the-top, paparazzi-baiting styling was brought to international attention during his time working with Lady Gaga, an approach that morphed into a role heading up Mugler. In fact, the boob-baring look that Minaj ended up wearing in the front row at the Ackermann show this season came from the designer’s Fall 2011 collection, which was only one season after Gaga took to the Mugler runway to perform midshow. But while Formichetti tamed the design with a sculptural nude bra, Minaj went with a simple purple pasty by Agent Provocateur, shorts by Givenchy and shades by Veronique Leroy. The moment brought so many others to mind.

Noted fashion critic Alexander Fury pointed to the controversial Super Bowl moment between Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake. In that instance, in what was widely reported as a malfunction, Timberlake snatched off a portion of Jackson’s look but surprisingly rendered her half topless, a piercing glinting beneath the stadium lights.  But there were more decidedly purposeful moments.

In 2013, Miley Cyrus turned up for Halloween in an all pink pantsuit version of the look. Directly channeling Lil’ Kim, the star exposed an underboob tat, wore a wig of the same hue and got congratulations from Queen Bee herself. Kim’s wearing of the look — in purple, designed by her stylist Misa Hylton-Brim — happened way back in 1999 at the MTV Music Video Awards.

When the star made it to the stage, the look with its seashell shaped pasty caught so much attention that Diana Ross reached over to touch the exposed breast. But there’s more.

The house that’s undoubtedly most connected with the mono-boob, as some call it is Saint Laurent. The brand first debuted their version of the look in the Spring 1990 collection itself. There he did a one shouldered, draped toga gown with a breast exposed. Hedi Slimane followed those footsteps, putting a nipple baring look in his Fall 2015 showcase. Just last year Anthony Vaccarello redid the look for the brand as a part of his Spring 2017 debut, putting Binx Walton on the runway and glittering up her nipple.

Last July, a swimwear brand brought the look to the runway in a different form. Luxury swimwear brand Lee & Lani channeled the look as a women’s empowerment moment down in South Beach.

For their final model, the label asked Gabi Fulton to make #FreeTheNipple a runway moment in an attempt to desexualize the female form. That high-waisted black look got quite the response on social media.

But one designer preceded all of that in a monumental moment for American fashion. By all accounts, 1973’s Battle at Versailles was a turning point for the fashion world wherein the United States began to be taken seriously for its design talent and relevancy in the space. In a story retold in Made2Measure’s Battle at Versailles movie as well as a book of the same name, five American designers and five French designers went head to head in back-to-back shows. Of the notable looks? One Halston look made an entry as one of the first from the trend. Model Alva Chinn took to the runway on that grade stage in a black look, too, with her breast out.

Nicki Minaj’s outfit may not be an homage to any of these other looks, but it’s safe to say she’s not alone in baring it all for fashion.

At this point, it goes without saying that Chrissy Teigen is an amazing mom. In May, she and John Legend welcomed their second child, a son named Miles Theodore. On Saturday morning, Chrissy shared a topless photo of herself breastfeeding. Neither nipple is free, however, because Chrissy has a baby on each breast.

The other baby? One of Luna's dolls, because Chrissy is that kind of mom.

"Luna making me feed her babydoll so I guess I have twins now," Chrissy captioned the photo.

Last night, Chrissy posted a video of John Legend exemplifying #DadGoals. In the clip, John burps Miles while Luna climbs on his head like he's a jungle gym. And John takes it all in stride, like a pro.

And the Parents of the Century are, obviously, Chrissy and John.

Heidi Klum might be a modeling veteran at this point — more than 2 decades in the business! — but she’s still at the top of the game. Her latest prestigious booking is landing the cover of Harper’s Bazaar Germany, for which she’s makeup free — and revealing more than just her bare face.

The 44-year-old took to her Instagram account to share images from the photo shoot with photographer Regan Cameron, which includes two covers.

She also shared a cheeky black and white image from the spread, featuring the mother-of-four wearing a black suit with the blazer open and no shirt underneath.

Klum might have #freedthenipple but she made sure to use an emoji to censor the post.

“I like myself the way I am,” the stunner captioned the picture, along with the hashtags #Natural and #NoMakeup.

Klum has been open about her body and has posed unclothed before. Speaking to People magazine, Klum revealed that she feels her best when she’s not wearing anything. “I feel more comfortable when I’m naked than when I have clothes on,” she said in June. “It’s not like if you come to my house, I’ll be walking around naked. But if it’s a beautiful, sunny day and I’m in my backyard and there’s no one there? Hell yeah I’m going to take my clothes off.”

Despite the ongoing, celebrity-driven backlash against Instagram’s policy against allowing pictures that show female nipples (Chrissy Teigen, Miley Cyrus, and Chelsea Handler have all been big supporters), the photo sharing app has continued to remove all posts that do so. As it stands, the only boob pics Instagram allows are those depicting “post-mastectomy scarring and women actively breastfeeding.”

But someone may have finally found a way to beat Insta at its own, nipple-profiling game. 

Back in 2014, a Los Angeles-based artist and self-described feminist named Micol Hebron created an image of a male nipple — a body part not included in the nudity ban — and posted it online with the following description: 

“Here you go — you can use this to make any photo of a topless woman acceptable for the Interwebs! Use this ‘acceptable (male) nipple template,’ duplicate, resize and paste as needed to cover the offending female nipples with socially acceptable male nipples (like a digital pasty). You’re welcome.”

Because the Internet is weird, it took about a year for Hebron’s concept and image to go viral. Recomposed by an unknown person, the image, below — along with a new, yet like-minded and equally sarcastic, set of instructions — wound up on Instagram and Facebook, and began inspiring women to #FreeTheNipple… just not their own nipple.
