While the Staples Center in Los Angeles was filled with A-listers on Monday night for the 58th Annual GRAMMY Awards, we noticed there were a number of celebs missing from the star-studded event.

Nicki Minaj is the next artist to debunk claims of hitting the stage at the 2016 Grammys.

After several new performers were announced that included Minaj, she took to her Instagram to clear the air. Minaj says she isn’t performing, but she thanks the Grammys for nominating The Pinkprint. She adds that maybe next year she can put together a “special performance” for us.


Minaj follows her fellow Young Money buddy Drake, who also went on social media to call out the Grammys for misinforming fans. “I am not performing at the Grammy Awards…but hey it’s the thought that counts.”

Maybe someone should have checked that Super Bowl ad before it went live on air…

Never mind the groundhog. The nominations are in for the 2016 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, so we know spring is on the way.

Voting opens today in 22 categories across music, film, and television, and Billboard got the exclusive scoop on two of them. For Favorite Song of the Year, the nominees are “Bad Blood” by Taylor Swift featuring Kendrick Lamar; “Can’t Feel My Face,” The Weeknd; “Hello,” Adele; “Hotline Bling,” Drake; “Thinking Out Loud,” Ed Sheeran; and “What Do You Mean?,” Justin Bieber.

Alessia Cara, DNCE, OMI, Shawn Mendes, Silento, and Walk the Moon are vying for the orange blimp in the Favorite New Artist category.  

Check out this video featuring host Blake Shelton with an exclusive message for Billboard readers. The Kids’ Choice Awards return to the Forum in L.A. on March 12 and will air live at 8 p.m. on Nickelodeon.

In other key music categories, Fall Out Boy, Fifth Harmony, Imagine Dragons, Maroon 5, One Direction, and Pentatonix go head-to-head for Favorite Music Group. Favorite Male Singer noms include Shelton, Drake, Ed Sheeran, Justin Bieber, Nick Jonas, and The Weeknd, while the Favorite Female Singer trophy will go to one of the following: Adele, Ariana Grande, Meghan Trainor, Nicki Minaj, Selena Gomez, or Taylor Swift.

Listen up, youngsters! The 29th Annual Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards nominations have been revealed and it's definitely going to be a star-studded event.

Celebs including Jennifer Lawrence, Justin Bieber and Adele are among the famous faces who've made this year's list. What's more, wildly popular flicks such as Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Jurassic World and Pitch Perfect 2 are also vying for votes.

There’s a reason why R&B singer K. Michelle makes good reality TV. She’s brutally honest. Whether discussing her music, dating life, body enhancements, or trials with friends, she tells it straight.


The Memphis native was just as transparent when talking to Yahoo Music about her series, K. Michelle: My Life, that premieres its second season on VH1 Monday.

“I like white men, always have,” K. Michelle offers. “I haven’t really cared about what people think.” And when asked if she had any reservations about being friends with Sarafee Samuels, who dated Nicki Minaj for several years, she makes it clear that she did not.

“I don’t give a s***,” she says. “I don’t give a s***. No one’s going to tell me what I’m supposed to do. I like a couple of her songs. That’s it. We don’t talk to each other on the phone. We don’t play hopscotch with each other. So I can’t be this guy’s friend? Crazy that people really think they can tell you whose friends you’re gonna be.”

When Farrah Abraham and the Kardashians publicly feuded this week, they were only adding to the beef they’ve had with each other for years.

The latest incident occurred when Khloé’s new talk show, Kocktails With Khloé featured a reenactment of Abraham’s Twitter feud with Nicki Minaj earlier this month, which is a whole other story. 


Not only was there a reenactment, but both Khloé and her younger sister Kendall Jenner confirmed that they stand behind Nicki. Kendall even commented that, “I just don’t really agree with a lot of Farrah’s decisions in life, so that’s why I would just say I’m on Nicki’s side. I’m always team Nicki.”

Farrah — who has a 6-year-old daughter named Sophia — apparently took Kim’s comments personally.

You’ve seen the pictures. Attractive model coyly eating French fries or reality star making mundane activities such as going for your monthly hair bleach look glamourous. These are the inspirations for Australian comedian, Celeste Barber’s stream of hilarious Instagram posts. Using side-by-side comparisons, Barber recreates the celebrity post to expose just how ridiculous these “normal” activities would seem if someone who wasn’t famous posted them. 

“People are so obsessed with celebrities and celebrities seem to be so obsessed with portraying everyday people,” Barber said in an interview with the ABC. "I thought, right, if this is what everyone does — challenge accepted.“

Expectations were high when Adele joined James Corden for an all-new installment of Carpool Karaoke -- and the "Hello" singer blew all those expectations out of the water, revealing just how amazing she already is.

First and foremost: She raps. Adele raps. SHE RAPS! While she tried to play down her insane talent, it was clear that there's a whole musical side of Adele that we've never gotten to see.

Keeping up with (and adding her badass English accent to) Nicki Minaj's verse from the Kanye West song "Monster," it's enough to make us want Adele's next album to just be entirely hip-hop.


And even Minaj agrees, tweeting after the segment, "Adele is mad ratchet. I can't take her."

Another interesting tidbit we learned is that Adele is obsessed with the Spice Girls, and always has been.

So how much did she love them? Her 10th birthday was dedicated to the Spice Girls. Also, Adele revealed that the Spice Girl she related to the most was Geri "Ginger Spice" Halliwell, and when she left the group in 1998, Adele was devastated.


"That was the first time she was truly heartbroken," Adele shared.

"So that's what 'Someone Like You' is about," Corden responded, laughing. Then they sang the Spice Girls' 1996 megahit "Wannabe" and it was just epic!

This means war! Nicki Minaj and Farrah Abraham got into a huge Twitter fight on Sunday, January 10.

It appeared to have started when the “Superbass” songstress, 33, tweeted in some NSFW language that she, well, wasn’t exactly a fan of the Teen Mom OG star, 24. (Presumably Minaj had watched Monday’s premiere episode of the hit MTV show, which showed Abraham being rude to her mom and even being called out on it by her daughter.)

“Farrah is a c–t to her mother,” Minaj wrote. 

After one of her followers joked about Abraham’s 6-year-old daughter, Sophia, being angry at her mom for the way she treated her own mother, the rapper followed up with another tweet shortly after that read, “She was like b–ch go do some porn & leave gramma alone.”

Nicki Minaj‘s ABC Family sitcom has cast its leads, toplined by the selection of Ariana Neal as young Nicki.

Additionally, Selita Ebanks will play Minaj’s mom, Grace; Wesley Jonathan is dad, Vincent; and McCarrie McCausland has been selected for the big brother role, Jaylen. Plus, Whoopi Goldberg will guest star as Nicki’s neighbor, Miss Martha.

In a signature ~Vague Tweet~ Nicki Minaj appears to be saying something about taking her relationship with fellow rapper Meek Mill to the next level.

Nicki and Meek have sparked engagement rumors several times over the past year. First of all, he can’t stop buying her diamond rings. Second, Nicki herself keeps talking in interviews about marrying Meek, though she’s often speaking more theoretically than literally.
