'Fitoor' Actor Aditya Roy Kapur Avoided Reading 'Great Expectations' Before Shooting For The Film

Aditya Roy Kapur and Katrina Kaif will be next seen romancing each other in Abhishek Kapoor's upcoming directorial venture Fitoor, which is based on Charles Dickens' classic novel Great Expectations and though Katrina has read the book, it seems that Aditya deliberately stayed away from it.

Confirming the same during a promotional event, Aditya said that had he read the book, then he would have started looking for things from the book in the script or compare the two, which would have created complications for him as an actor and might have confused him. Aditya said that to avoid this, he did not read the book before starting to shoot for it.

Fitoor, which also stars Tabu, is slated to release on February 12.
