We’ve all seen Jennifer Lopez flaunt her enviable assets on the red carpet. The woman loves to wear a naked dress — you know the ones, with dangerously sheer paneling? In the past she has favored designers such as Roberto Cavalli, Zuhair Murad, and Charbel Zoe to design her barely there gowns.
After last year’s Met Ball, she even confessed to Ellen DeGeneres that in order to pull off her red, sheer Versace Couture dress, which left very little to the imagination, she had to wear some special adhesive tape. TMI alert!
At tonight’s Golden Globes, the Latin beauty decided to cover up, and the result was stunning. She wore a long, mustard-hued gown by Giambattista Valli with a thigh-high slit that wrapped around the waist and fanned out in a fabulous train. An attached cape and bejewled neckline made the outfit really sing. (It actually reminded us a bit of Michelle Williams’s Vera Wang at the 2006 Oscars.) A silver box clutch and sparkly heels completed the look.
Way to go, J.Lo!
