Despite having filed for divorce a year ago, Jillian and Patrick Dempsey hit the town together Tuesday night at the Image Maker Awards at L.A.’s famous Chateau Marmont. Jillian Dempsey, a makeup artist, was one of the honorees.
Citing irreconcilable differences, Jillian filed for divorce from Patrick in January 2015, after 15 years of marriage. The couple has three children together, two of whom made a brief appearance last night, photobombing their parents on the red carpet.
It’s possible the Dempseys were using the ceremony as an early birthday celebration for the former Grey’s Anatomy star, who turns 50 today.
It’s not the first time the maybe reconciled Dempseys have been seen out together since their divorce proceedings began. The couple was photographed holding hands, riding bikes, and taking selfies together in Paris in November. At the time, a source said the couple was “working on their relationship.”
