All Saints are back! And they have treated fans to a new single and a throwback performance

Newly-reunited 90s girl group All Saints have burst back into the music industry, releasing a catchy new single and making a surprise appearance at the Elle Style Awards to perform some of their most popular hits.

The new single, One Strike, has been released ahead of the album Red Flag – due in April.

And nostalgia ruled when the foursome walked the red carpet together at London’s Tate Britain for the awards show, before performing a set including their all-time classic Never Ever.

Melanie Blatt, Shaznay Lewis, Nicole Appleton and Natalie Appleton have been working together on their first album in 10 years, starting with the release of their new single – inspired by Nicole’s divorce from Oasis singer Liam Gallagher.

The melancholic track addresses the headline-grabbing split in 2014, when it emerged Liam had fathered a child with American journalist Liza Ghorbani.

Speaking when the single was announced, songwriter Shaznay said: “When I write, I just think about what’s on my mind. The lyrics came from somewhere very real. Nic was going through a lot of things at that time. That was at the forefront of my mind because it was the heaviest thing going on.”
