Kangana Ranaut is at the best time of her career. But recently, it’s not her work that garnered attention. Her public tiff with ‘silly ex’ Hrithik Roshan drove media into a tizzy. For the uninitiated, Kangana blamed Hrithik for her ouster from Ashiqui 3. She said: “Yes, many lame rumours are doing rounds, even a dumbass can tell where these rumours are coming from. I don’t know why exes do silly things to get your attention. For me, that chapter is over and I don’t dig graves.”
Hrithik retorted by tweeting: Ther r more chances of me having had an affair with d Pope dan any of d (I’m sure wonderful) women d media hs ben naming. Thanks but no thanks.”
In response to that Kangana told NDTV: “No. I am not hurt. I respect the other person’s opinion also. It’s very likely that a person can have a different perspective on the same situation or rather the past. But then, stick to your stand. Don’t slyly pursue people and spy on them, and chase them. So, we sign and seal the deal and then move on.“
Recently on her visit to Delhi to launch Big Fish Venture table reservation app, she spoke about why she isn’t active on social media, her struggles that shaped her, India’s obsession with fair skin and why she should be paid at par with her male counterparts. Here are excerpts from the interview.
