Jack Quaid has received the most important review of all on his role in HBO's new drama, Vinyl.
ET's Katie Krause caught up with the 23-year-old actor at the Vanity Fair and Fiat Brand's "Young Hollywood" Celebration in Los Angeles on Tuesday, where he revealed his parents, Dennis Quaid and Meg Ryan, are huge fans of the 1970s sex-and-drug filled music drama.
When ET asked Quaid -- who stars as Clark Morelle in the series co-created by Mick Jagger and Martin Scorsese -- if either of his parents had watched an episode, his reply was quite adorable.
"Oh you mean with the drugs and the sex and the rock 'n' roll?" he joked. "No, I mean, they love Scorsese things and I think that, you know, it wouldn't be Vinyl without all that stuff."
"My mom has seen the pilot, she's seen the second episode," he continued. "Both of them have seen all the episodes so far and they're big fans, which is great!"

So there's no covering up their eyes while watching their son on the screen?
"No, no. Not yet! Not yet!" he confirmed.
