Justin Timberlake Does ‘The Carlton’ on Golf Course With ‘Fresh Prince’ Alum Alfonso Ribeiro

It’s not unusual … for Justin Timberlake and Alfonso Ribeiro to break out in dance on the golf course. The pals got downright silly during the Pebble Beach Pro-Am Golf Tournament in California on Saturday, February 13, stopping everything in order to do the iconic “Carlton” dance together.

Timberlake, 35, and Ribeiro, 44, put on their best poker faces as they quieted the crowd with shushing gestures in the middle of the game. Once the onlookers were quiet, the pair began to swing their arms wildly in rhythm to an imaginary track of Tom Jones’ “It’s Not Unusual,” to the delight of fans.

The hilariously goofy dance, made famous by Ribeiro’s character Carlton on ‘90s sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, has had staying power long past the series’ 1996 finale.

Just last July, the friends surprised fans when they did the nostalgic dance together at the American Century Celebrity Golf Tournament in Lake Tahoe, Nevada.

“Great day in Tahoe Edgewood with @jtimberlake and Johnathan Thomas of American Century,” Ribeiro tweeted at the time. Timberlake followed up by retweeting a hilarious photo of his pals holding him up by his legs, captioning the shot, “BEST. GOLF. HOLE. EVER.”
