Rihanna's Next Performance Will Be During Grammy Week in February — Here Are the Details

Fresh off the surprise release of her newest album Anti, Rihanna will join the lineup of musicians performing at a tribute concert for singer Lionel Richie on Feb. 13 in Los Angeles, according to an announcement released Thursday from the Recording Academy, the organization behind the Grammy Awards.

Lionel Richie is 2016's MusiCares Person of the Year — MusiCares is a foundation connected to the Recording Academy — and the concert held in his honor is part of a week of events leading up to the 58th Annual Grammy Awards. Rihanna joins Usher, Stevie Wonder, Pharrell Williams, John Legend, Demi Lovato and Ellie Goulding, who are all among the artists scheduled to perform at the tribute concert.

Jimmy Kimmel will host the tribute concert, which will honor Richie for his "significant creative achievements and career-spanning charitable contributions." Additional performers include Yolanda Adams, Dave Grohl, Leon Bridges, Chris Stapleton, Florence Welch, Lenny Kravitz, Lady Antebellum, the Roots and Luke Bryan.

Rihanna will likely command lots of attention at the concert – So far it's scheduled to be her first live performance since Anti was released. It remains to be seen whether Rihanna will perform any of her new songs at the tribute.
