Roger Kwok not worried about drama's cancellation

Roger Kwok isn't worried despite rumours that his upcoming drama, "The Last Healer in the Forbidden City", may not be aired by TVB, On CC reported.

According to the rumour mills, TVB has been working hard in revamping its production since late last year in order to have more quality shows. This includes removing low-quality shows from its 2016 line-up.


Sources claimed that the period drama has been listed as one of the shows that suffered the hacks due to its low production standards.

However, when mentioned about the rumours to Roger recently, the actor, who played the main character in the series, stated that he didn't hear any rumour about the drama being shelved.

"I have not received any notification about it. But people will know when the drama is going to be aired, so there is no need to worry or to speculate," he said.

He also denied that the drama lacks in quality, stressing that it was a big budget production.
