Vice Ganda finds himself to be the target of angry netizens recently after expressing his dissatisfaction over Manny Pacquiao's recent anti-gay statement.
According to PEP News, Ganda, who stated that he will not vote for Pacquiao in the May election, was called a hypocrite by some members of the online community, who stated that he has no right to chastise anybody based on his own records.
One netizen reminded Ganda that he was previously in trouble for comparing broadcast journalist Jessica Soho to a pig and offended many plus-sized people in his stand-up comedy shows.
They also reminded him that he once made fun of Pacquiao and compared the boxer to different kinds of animals.
"Now that Manny Pacquiao made a statement saying LGBTs are worse than animal, you were offended and started the hashtag #PrayForMannyPacquiao and told everyone not to vote him," said one commenter.
Ganda had since responded to the criticisms, saying that the two of them should not be compared.
