Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, who is one of the accused in the infamous black-buck poaching case in Rajasthan, has been summoned by a local court in Jodhpur to have his statement recorded.
The court issued the summons while rejecting an application of the defence seeking recalling of a prosecution witness for his examination. The trial of the case was completed with the re-examination of five prosecution witnesses on Wednesday, immediately after which defence counsel H M Saraswat had moved a fresh application to recall the then District Magistrate Rajat Kumar Mishra.
Salman has been summoned to court for the recording of his statement on March 10.
