We bet Caitlyn was devastated.
Caitlyn, formerly known as Bruce Jenner, came out as transgender and transitioned last year, with the 66-year-old being close to Lamar when he was married to Khloe a few years back.
However, Khloe was concerned that seeing Caitlyn might have been confusing for Lamar whilst he was vulnerable in hospital as he wasn’t aware that she had transitioned at the time.
Speaking in an upcoming episode of Kocktails With Khloe, the reality star shared: “When he [Lamar] had his accident and he was in the hospital, Caitlyn was like, ‘I want to come and see Lamar.’ Lamar did not know about Caitlyn at that time.
"Lamar was in a coma and Lamar was in a hospital for four months and I kept Lamar very sheltered. During that time was when Caitlyn was transitioning, but also, prior to Lamar’s accident, Lamar was not in the best state.
"I wasn’t there to see him, but I can’t guarantee you he was watching television was my point.
"So, when Caitlyn wanted to come and visit Lamar for the first time was in the hospital, I wanted to respect Caitlyn being Caitlyn, but I also was like… [I didn’t want her there]”
The admission comes after Khlo hinted that she feels “helpless” after her estranged husband was pictured drinking in a Los Angeles bar over the weekend.
Taking to her Twitter account soon after the photos appeared online Khloe wrote: “I hate this feeling… Helpless.”
We hope that Lamar continues to get the help that he needs to make a full recovery.
