Part time Mixer and full-time QUEEN Jesy Nelson has opened up about the trolls who target her on social media.
The Little Mix singer admitted that the ‘disgusting’ comments she receives have often reduced her to tears, but that thanks to the support of the girls in the band and her fiancé, Rixton’s Jake Roche, she’s been able to deal with the abuse better.
We first saw Jesy struggling with trolls in the very early days of Little Mix, when X Factor bosses aired footage of the singer breaking down over comments posted on social media that picked on her size.
Speaking to Cosmopolitan magazine, Jesy said: “It used to make me cry. I was shocked at the time. I was a young girl and I thought, 'What have I done to you? Why do you have to be mean to me?’ I’m not a nasty person and I took it to heart. Some of the things people said were disgusting. It really affected me.”
However, despite the bullying she’s received on online, the X Factor alumnus said that she’s still 'loving’ being in the band – and that Leigh-Anne, Jade, Perrie and herself are all addicted to each other’s friendship.
