In the last of the knockout rounds on The Voice, will.i.am and Boy George chose their favourite three contestants each to take through to the live shows. But one, Lydia Lucy, had everyone in awe when she did a rap cover of Taylor Swift’s I Knew You Were Trouble.
The 22-year-old did her own version of the song in the knockout round, and it sent her flying though to next week’s show, along with Lyrikal and Lauren Lapsley-Browne on will.i.am’s team, and Cody Frost, Harry Fisher and Vangelis on Boy George’s team.
You might recognise Essex-born Lydia from the X Factor, when she was rejected at the six-chair challenge in 2013.
