A star of the US reality TV series The Real Housewives Of New Jersey is heading to prison.
An attorney for Joe Giudice said he is expected to report to a federal prison on Wednesday to begin a 41-month sentence for bankruptcy fraud.
His wife, “Real Housewife” Teresa Giudice, finished her 15-month sentence in December. A judge staggered their sentences so they could care for their four daughters.
The couple pleaded guilty in 2014 to bankruptcy fraud, while Joe Giudice also admitted not paying about 200,000 dollars (£141,000) in taxes.
Joe has been living in the country illegally since he was an infant, and will be deported to Italy after completing his sentence. With time off for good behaviour, he could serve about 35 months in jail, his attorney Miles Feinstein said.
