Actors often sustain injuries while performing action sequences in their films and something similar happened with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan on the sets of Sarbjit, though it wasn't an action sequence. Recently, during the shooting Aishwarya bruised her feet when she chose to run barefoot on location in Punjab for a shot.
According to a source, the footwear of the former beauty queen broke and it would have taken some time to get a new pair since the base was set up away from the location. Since it was an outdoor location and the crew was losing light, the actress took a call to run barefoot for the shot.
A crew member said that Ash's feet were bruised by the end of the shot as the road had sharp-edged stones. ''The dedication she shows towards her work is commendable! Whenever we would be stuck with a problem, she has always heard us out and put efforts to find a solution and make it easy for us, even if it means something gets difficult for her. She truly is a star in all means and the whole team has immense respect and love for her.'' expressed a crew-member.
Known for her elegance and grace, the Bachchan Bahu doesn't leave any stone unturned when she works. Quite literally!
