Although she will be busy performing her concert tour and promoting first TVB drama "Blue Veins" this year, Kay Tse revealed that she has not accepted any jobs for the year 2017.
But unlike previous pregnancy rumours, Kay Tse said that the decision to take a temporary break was so that she could spend more time with her family, according to Mingpao.
"I have received a lot of job offers but I turned them all down. The reason is simple. I just want to have extra time at home and spend time with my son and my family at home," she said.
Kay stated that son James is already eight and will face more challenges as he continues to grow.
"As a mother, I hope to spend more time with him and be the person that he can rely on," she said.
The singer also admitted that she wants to spend more time with her parents and in-laws.
"Last year, I was so busy half of the time that I had no chance to visit them. I want to take the opportunity to travel with them while they still can. If I keep on delaying, I may lose precious time," she said.
