It was previously reported that Monica Chan will be making her TVB comeback, though no details have been released as to the project that she will be involved in.
However, according to On CC, it was recently revealed that the "Duke of Mount Deer" star is set to star in Wong Jing's upcoming production, the remake of TVB's 1980 drama, "The Shell Game".
The original drama, known as the TV series that paved the road for future gambling series and movies in Hong Kong, stars Patrick Tse as casino owner Law Sai Hoi.
The remake will also feature the original star, alongside other actors including Kenneth Ma, and Charmaine Sheh.
"We will be filming in both mainland China and Hong Kong," said Monica, whose character in the remake has yet to be announced.
When asked her thoughts on the project, Monica stated that she is just happy to be back, adding that her parents are also excited that she is making her return on Hong Kong television again.
