TVB actress Priscilla Wong has a new moniker, now that her father Wong Wing Wah's civil engineering firm, Luen Wong Group Holdings Limited, has gone public.
According to Apple Daily, sources claimed that with the company becoming a publicly traded and owned entity, the Wong family is now worth over HKD1.3 billion, and the TVB actress is now dubbed the Billionaire's Daughter.
Priscilla also shared the good news on Facebook, expressing how proud she was of her father's success after decades of hard work.
"My dad used to be a fish vendor and a construction worker. His hands were numbed by ice, and his feet were punctured by nails. He has worked hard for so many years," wrote the actress.
Priscilla stated that her father even expressed his intention to retire a few years back – a decision that she fully supported. Mr. Wong, however, continued to work, establishing and developing his firm to what it is today.
"Today is a big day for my father. We are all so proud of him. Dad, you are number one!" she added.
