The cast and crew of "Run Over Run" were ecstatic to find that the drama's finale was a success in the ratings, with an average 29 points peaking at 30, when it aired last weekend.
As reported on On CC News, the success of the drama has even inspired producer Lam Chi Wah to propose for a sequel.
"I do want to [film a sequel]. We will see if TVB would want to or not," said the producer, who is currently filming in Vietnam.
He was also full of praises for the series' stars for their improved performance, especially Vincent Wong and Benjamin Yuen – the latter playing the antagonist of the series.
Meanwhile, Vincent, who is also in Vietnam to film Lam's new drama, "Dead Wrong", expressed delight over the news.
"I was watching it in Vietnam and also reading the comments from viewers online. I was touched that so many people loved the series," he said.
When asked if he would like to make a sequel for the drama, Vincent enthused, "Of course. I love working with everyone on the team."
