Bollywood filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala will be conferred with the Chevalier de L'Ordre des Arts et Lettres (Knight in the National Order Arts and Letterst) by the French Government for his outstanding achievements as a producer and his commitment to constantly improving Indo-French relations.
The honour is slated to be conferred on Nadiadwala at a special ceremony that will take place in New Delhi in the coming weeks.
In his career spanning 30 years, Nadiadwala has made valuable contribution to the Indian film industry. This is not the first honour to be bestowed on the director-producer, earlier in 2013, the Italian territory of Puglia's Official Tourist Board "Pugliapromozione," together with Apulia Film Commission dedicated a travel itinerary through the Puglia territory to him called the ''Sajid Nadiadwala Housefull Itinerary in Puglia."
