[by Bae Jung Yun] A boy group VIXX unveiled its first album concept before the group’s comeback on April 19.
On April 14 at midnight KST, the group’s agency Jellyfish entertainment disclosed a video ‘Zelos CONCEPT FILM’ on YouTube and various official channels.
The unveiled video is showing the concept of the group’s first series album ‘VIXX 2016 CONCEPTION’. The album is called Zelos and it means the god of jealousy and competition in Greek and Roman mythology. It included women and men’s breathtaking runs in order to chase their love. The group, which has a unique concept even from its debut, is expected to show its extraordinary concept in the upcoming album.
Members acted a scene of fighting over a woman. The film starts with Leo’s sharp eyes shows the jealousy of men, who chases the same love. The image of wandering in the dark basement just like roaming around the dark to find love was cross edited.
Moreover, the name of the title song ‘Dynamite’ was also unveiled on the last part of the video. It announced that the album has the larger scale than any other one of the group’s previous albums.
The group is expected to show member’s transformation with various contents for its yearly project. Various concepts starting from a god of jealousy, Zelos, a god manges one’s death, Hades and a god of power, Cratos will be disclosed in each series of film and it will deliver message related to music.
