Earlier this month Justin Bieber announced that he was unable to tour in Argentina, admitting that the South American country had banned him following an incident involving his bodyguard and a photographer in 2013.
The pop star told his disappointed followers that he desperately wanted to bring his ‘Purpose’ tour to the country but was unable to do so “until the legal conditions change”.
Well, Bieber fans are not ones to let a simple matter like the law get in the way of their fun as a group of Argentinian fans took to the streets of Buenos Aires to protest the government’s decision.
Hundreds of Beliebers marched to the capital city in order to make their feelings known as they held a variety of different placards, including: “Argentina Needs Justin’ and 'Right To Music’.
Last year the singer was warned that if he entered the country he would be arrested, with Judge Albert Julio Banos ordering the star’s “immediate detention” because of a warrant stemming from the 2013 altercation, when photographer Diego Pensoa accused Justin’s boydguards of attacking him in a club.
It was alleged that Justin had ordered the attack and he was given a warrant because he refused to answer questions about the incident before leaving the country.
