Has the ban on Kai Ko been lifted? According to reports, the actor has recently been offered a role in an upcoming mainland drama.
As reported on Liberty Times, the actor's manager Angie Chai admitted that they have been receiving repeated offers from a production company, who wanted the Taiwanese star to join its upcoming 40-episode World War II drama.
The actor is said to have been offered a hefty fee of NTD100 million to play a role in the new project.
Reportedly, the studio still wanted Ko, despite previous ban on him for his past drug charges, due to his popularity – which remained unaffected despite the scandal.
According to Angie, they decided to take on the offer after receiving approval from the authorities.
