Wearing her hair down in a poker straight style, the Genie in a Bottle hitmaker showed off her beauty credentials by braiding the front section of her hair and adding a series of silver hoops for an edgy finish.
Celebrity hairstylist Chris Appleton, who created the striking hairstyle, gave his own Instagram followers a closer look at Christina's 'do, with a close-up snap of the hooped braid, as well as the singer's bold purple matte lipstick and shimmering gold eyeshadow, teamed with a dramatic winged eyeliner look.
