Hong Kong actress Elanne Kong has declined to elaborate about the romance between her and mainland comedy actor Cao Yunjin, as reported on NetEase.
Rumours of relationship between the two sparked recently when Elanne was spotted picking Cao up from the airport.
They were also photographed shopping for groceries together, accompanied by Cao's mother, two days later. By the fourth day, Cao was seen driving Elanne off to the airport, and were photographed kissing before she left Beijing.
The news was a surprise to many due to the differences between the two stars. It was also surprising to some since Cao was supposedly dating mainland actress, Zhang Ran, sparking rumours that Cao had dumped her for Elanne.
When asked about their relationship, Elanne responded, "This is something ordinary. I hope that you can give me blessings. To know that all of you have been very concerned about me, thank you. I will continue to live a good life and to work hard."
As for rumours that Cao dumped Zhang Ran for her, Elanne said, "I have no comment."
