Ellie Goulding's hopes for a reunion with her ex-beau Dougie Poynter may have hit a setback, as he's been spotted on dates with a model.
Ellie is said to be “gutted” to find out her 28-year-old former beau has reportedly moved on with Abercrombie & Fitch beauty Kara Rose Marshall, who previously dated One Direction’s Harry Styles.
The On My Mind previously told Britain’s Heat magazine her relationship with Dougie was an “unfinished story”, but it looks as though the rocker has started a new chapter, enjoying three dates with Kara in under a week, reports the magazine.
After they allegedly spent the evening flirting at a Busted gig in London on 11 May (16), Dougie and Kara then reportedly went to Richmond Park and watched The Jungle Book together. Just 24 hours later they were again spotted in each other's company, this time at a London bar.
“Ellie has been thinking about the breakup a lot recently and can’t help checking up on Dougie on social media,” friends of the singer told Heat. “She’s found it hard seeing him out with other girls.”
By contrast the Army singer, who’s currently on her U.S. tour, has admitted she finds touring “a weird and lonely thing” and in an interview revealed she’s struggled with panic attacks.
“My surroundings would trigger a panic attack. I couldn’t go to the studio unless I was lying down in a car with a pillow over my face,” she told Flare magazine.
