As a result, much of the Internet is dominated with fan theories about every aspect of the much-loved fantasy drama, and whilst a lot of these theories make little to no sense at all, sometimes one comes along and everything suddenly falls into place.

On Monday night’s episode of Thrones we warmly welcomed back Bran Stark, who was missing for the entire last season.
During a flashback, Bran saw a young Hodor - but he wasn’t exactly Hodor, he was a stable boy called Wylis and, you’ve guessed it, he could talk.
Obviously this means that something tragic happened to the lovable giant over the years and when Bran confronted him about his past you could see the pain in his eyes as he desperately tried to communicate with the youngest Stark boy but failed miserably.
However, the flashback has added fuel to an increasingly popular theory about Hodor that suggests that he used to also have the ability to warg into other people’s conciousnessess, just like Bran can do now.
Reddit user Gbinasia explained that as a stable boy it is likely that a young Wylis chose to warg into a horse: “And if the (possibly) only girl treating him nicely was Lyanna, it would make complete sense that this is the horse he would warg into.
