I.O.I's Jeon So Mi mentioned about I.O.I's breakup.

On May 5th, new K-Pop girl group I.O.I's debut showcase was held at Jangchoong Arena in Jangchoong-dong, Seoul.

During the showcase, Jeon So Mi said, "Eleven of us met each other as trainees of different agencies, and we are now all members of I.O.I. However, this project group will be disassembled a year later."

She continued, "We will break up a year later, but we will not have a sad breakup, and continue participating in many other activities in the future."

Meanwhile, I.O.I's debut album, 'Chrysalis,' is composed of four new tracks titled 'Dream Girls,' 'I.O.I (Intro),' 'Knock Knock Knock,' and 'Doo Wap,' and three remake songs titled 'Pick Me,' 'Crush,' and 'When the Cherry Blossoms Fade.'
