As reported on ABS-CBN News, the actor revealed recently that he started thinking about making a directorial debut after attending the Berlin International Film Festival last February, where his movie "Hele Sa Hiwagang Hapis" won the Silver Bear prize.
Although he still hasn't found the perfect project for it or even his preferred genre, Cruz stated that he hopes to "discover my own voice when it comes to filmmaking."
And it seemed that Cruz already has a knack for it, as director Cathy Grace-Molina, who recently directed his latest film "Just the 3 of Us", revealed that Cruz had a hand in the ending of the film.
However, upon it being mentioned, Cruz denied that it was anything significant, and that it was natural for the cast and crew to work together to make a good film.
