Kanye West wants his tour and music to be as inspiring as Star Wars

Kanye West has unveiled plans for a new tour – and in true Kanye style, he promises it will be epic.

The rapper phoned Steve Harvey’s radio show in the US to tell listeners that plans for his Life Of Pablo tour are shaping up.

He revealed he’s hoping his ventures will have the same sort of impact as Star Wars has had.

“We’re just working on some of the ideas right now,” he said. “As I said before, I’m trying to literally inspire these kids the way Disney inspired me when I saw the original Star Wars.”


Kanye, 38, clearly has high hopes for his road trip, as he told Steve his “tour game” was “strong” and “unprecedented”.

The Bound 2 singer didn’t give firm details but said he is likely to be heading out in September.
