Stephen Curry is inarguably one of the most dominant players in basketball, a fact that was sealed on Tuesday when he was named the NBA’s Most Valuable Player for the second year in a row, and became the first to receive a unanimous vote. But even that great achievement was overshadowed by his adorable pint-sized sidekick.
Daughter Riley Curry, 3, won the Internet once again when she joined her Golden State Warrior dad as he accepted the MVP trophy during a news conference in Oakland, California, on Tuesday.
With her hair in her signature buns and wearing a little grey sweater, Riley prowled around the room and hammed it up for the cameras by motioning to reporters that she had her eyes on them.
And all eyes definitely were on Curry’s biggest fan, who hasn’t been a presence in post-game press conferences as much this season as last year — perhaps due to her dad’s recent injury or because she was staying home with baby sister, Ryan.
“If my kids aren’t as dope as Riley Curry I’m returning them,” one besotted Twitter user wrote following her latest appearance.
While others proclaimed her “a legend” who should have won the MVP.
