Just when it seems that everything is going smoothly, it was reported that the release of director Wynn Lau's new movie, "Nowhere to Hide", has been halted, as reported on On CC News.
The movie, which was scheduled for a 12 May release, supposedly has postponed its release to an undetermined date, according to a letter from its investor to one of the stars' manager.
When contacted by the media recently, Don Li, the main star of the film, stated that he knew nothing about it.
"I only found out about it after you told me," he said.
However, Don admitted that he hasn't been able to get in contact with the producer to ask about the movie, and that director Wynn Lau only told him that he could not reveal any detail.
"If there is a problem, I will surely talk about it," he said.
The movie already made headlines last year before it even started, after its lead actress, HKSAR Chief Executive CY Leung's daughter, Leung Chai Yan, decided not to do the movie after all a few days before it was supposed to begin filming.
She was later replaced by actress Carol Yeung.
