Love Island fans have always been under the impression that the contestants are not allowed to leave the villa, but questions have been raised after some viewers spotted a piece of incriminating evidence during last night's episode (July 23).
Jack Fowler could be seen drinking from a McDonald's cup, which led many to believe that he'd been allowed to sneak off to a nearby Maccas.
While talking to Josh Denzel in the bedroom, the cup could be seen on the table in front of him, and viewers were quick to comment about it on Twitter.
One person joked: "New Jack been on the maccies run then?"
While another suspicious viewer added: "DID ANYONE SEE THAT MCDONALDS CUP IN THE BEDROOM THEN? SOMETHING THE PRODUCERS ARENT TELLING US HMMMMM."
Unbelievably, the Islanders are actually allowed to eat during their time on the show, and it's possible for food to be brought in past the villa's fortified walls.
The McDonald's cup wasn't the biggest drama that episode, as the couple's had their relationships put to the test with the show's infamous lie detector test.
Jack Fincham was asked whether he'd be tempted by other girls outside the villa, and despite insisting he wouldn't, the test deemed him to be lying.
Fearing for Jack and Dani Dyer's relationship, some viewers accused the results of being tampered with.
"Anyone else think they have rigged Jack's answers to cause drama on the show?" one viewer questioned on Twitter, while another simply called the lie detector "bollocks".
