With 2015 the Year of the Squad, one could look at Stella McCartney’s Hollywood friendships as pure show. But the 44-year-old designer and daughter of rock royalty is as nonchalant as her aesthetic, wearing her own understated jackets and pants as a working mom of four kids with her husband of 13 years, British publisher Alasdhair Willis. Her long-term, loyal friendships with Kate Hudson, Naomi Watts, Liv Tyler, Kate Moss and Rihanna are not plastered on Instagram. “Stella is a real girlfriend; she’s not competitive in the girl area,” her friend and fellow designer Tom Ford, who’s known her for 15 years, has said. Gwyneth Paltrow has vouched, “When one of your best friends is a very successful artist and you love and admire her work, you want to support it at all costs.” Now the British fashion force, an avowed vegetarian (she’s a fan of West Hollywood vegan spot Crossroads) who uses no leather or fur in her designs (often embraced by Natalie Portman, Anne Hathaway and other vegan celebs), will be building on the trend started by Ford with his first L.A. show last February. McCartney is revealing her pre-fall collection — which usually shows in New York — at a yet-to-be-revealed Hollywood location, sure to be packed with her A-list supporters, on Jan. 12.

KALLING KENDALL: Mango is on a mission to match its marketing plans with the pace of its fast-fashion business and it’s tappedKendall Jenner as part of the plan, WWD has learned.

Jenner will star in “Tribal Spirit,” the first of the four separate themes that make up the spring 2016 campaign. She will model the collection, which is inspired by the African savanna, and includes a tribal print dress with a high slit, and a leather fringe minidress.

The brand is seeking to align its marketing efforts with the pace of fast-fashion, and it plans to unveil a new mini-campaign — with a different face — each month for the spring season. A new ad will drop in the months of February, March, April and May.

“We are organizing our marketing strategy to be as close as possible to the strategy of the product,” said Mango vice president Daniel López in an interview. “We are creating and detecting and launching trends very quickly on the sales floor. And we’re also shooting the campaigns with the trends that we will have in the stores in that relevant month.” He said the celebrity that will star in each campaign will reflect “the relevant trend” for that month.

If you can count on anyone to celebrate Christmas Eve in style, it would be Kate Moss. The world-famous supermodel was spied at the The Five Alls pub in Filkins, celebrating the holiday with her ex Jefferson Hack and some pals. In true Kate fashion, she hit the town in a pair of fringed boots and a cream-colored floor-length fur coat that looked oh so cozy.

Paris Fashion Week Men’s spring ’19 shows were especially jam-packed with celebrities — and the stars had the best seats on the front row.

The biggest draw was Louis Vuitton, where Virgil Abloh debuted his first-ever collection for the label since becoming the brand’s creative director for menswear. Abloh’s celebrity pals came out in spades to support him, and the front row was full of A-listers.

Kanye West, Travis Scott, Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner had front row seats for all the action. West, who was clad in a look from his own Yeezy label, shared an emotional moment with Abloh, whom he had interned with at Fendi.

Jenner and Kardashian sported looks straight from the runway, with Kardashian sporting a bright blue jacket as a dress and Jenner wearing a bright yellow jumpsuit.

Singer and Puma Fenty designer Rihanna also attended Abloh’s show, wearing an oversized white jumpsuit with pointy-toed pumps.

Bella Hadid sported teensy red shorts with a matching shirt and Christian Louboutin pumps.

Although Hadid did not wear a spring’ 19 Louis Vuitton look to the show, she was spotted in a bright yellow jumpsuit from the collection later in the day. And the 21-year-old did wear straight-off-the-runway Dior Homme to the brand’s show, sporting a highlighter yellow suit with high-top sneakers as she sat front row.

Dior Homme’s show was also filled with stars, including supermodels Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss.

Campbell sported a creamy white suit and aviator sunglasses as she sat alongside Lenny Kravitz, Moss and Victoria Beckham.

Meanwhile, Moss sported a pajama-inspired set, which she paired with metallic sandals.

Kate Moss wore one of the very first naked dresses when she stepped out in a sheer slip back in 1993, decades before we saw the controversial trend emerge. And this weekend, champion of the naked dress herself Kim Kardashian West recreated Moss' iconic fashion moment.

Back in the early '90s, Moss arrived to an Elite Model Management party in London wearing a completely sheer silver slip dress which turned heads (and made plenty of headlines). She wore the frock bare underneath except for a pair of black knickers and it fast became one of the British supermodel's most memorable fashion moments.

Speaking to Vogue about the famous look last year, Moss said: "It was the first time I really got papped. I had no idea why everyone was so excited - in the darkness of Corinne's Soho flat the dress was not see-through!"

Kardashian – who has worn more than a few revealing dresses in her time – looked to be channelling Moss' moment in a snap she posted onto her Instagram account this weekend.

The reality star was seen in a sheer silver dress, under which she was wearing a pair of cream knickers. She wore a long grey blazer over the top of the ensemble and teamed it with a pair of perspex Yeezy heels. Although her dress featured a higher neckline, was shorter and seemed to have a more shimmery finish than Moss' dress, the two looks are undeniably similar.

Now that he's officially released his new album — the seven-trackYe — Kanye West is turning his ever-roving attention back onto fashion. The rapper, designer, and provocateur just released his latest Yeezy campaign with no warning, and it sure is something, especially considering it's for just one colorway of a single sneaker. For the Yeezy 500 Supermoon Yellow sneaker, West recruited a handful of influencers and Internet celebrities, including porn stars.

Shot by frequent collaborator Eli Russell Linnetz, the photo features more shoes than actual clothing, which is on brand for a sneaker campaign—and somewhat on trend considering Jacquemus' nude fall 2017 ad and Eckhaus Latta's spring 2017 ads that featured models having real sex. In the Yeezy campaign, there isn't any of that, but there is a lot of embracing—namely between Bad Girls Club alumni turned Instagram stars the Clermont Twins. The sisters shared their contributions to the Supermoon campaign on Twitter, sharing a few topless photos.

The most glaring thing about the Supermoon campaign, though, may be the inclusion of Lela Star, an adult actress who bears a striking resemblance to West's wife Kim Kardashian West, specifically in these photos. (This wouldn't be the first time Kardashian inspired a Yeezy campaign.)

Incidentally, and rather old-fashioned, it's only women who appear fully naked in the campaign, while some men are even fully clothed.

That same campaign also featured the Clermont Twins, who said of the experience, "Everyone was really nice to us! We enjoyed that! The shot with us being naked was completely not planned, it was kind of like the last shot."
